TLDR: Play this game if you like open world RPG, although I recommend wait while it's on sale

Game had a ♥♥♥♥ start out of the gates.
Over-promising a bunch of stuff from promotions (although not as bad as NMS).
Bugs abound, some game-breaking. Thankfully PC players have the least problems.

This is a review after patch 1.31.
PROS:
-Game runs way smoother. And looks gorgeous.
-Haven't experienced any major or game breaking bugs.
-Fantastic voice actors and dialogue.
-Also fantastic stories be it main missions or side quests.
-Characters act and speak in a believable fashion.
-Action is hella fun, with many different ways to approach them.

CONS:
-Still marred by all the promised feature CDPR made that is simply non-existent on release. Oh what could've been.

Yes I know, this game has had an nth amount of release and republishes.
But if you approach this game as a casual player, just looking to explore and fight stuff, trust me, it's hella fun.
Seriously though, forget about the controversy and give this game a whirl. It's seriously fun!

And most of all! It's FREE!!

If you liked Nether, you'd like this.
Almost all buildings can be entered, lots of rooms in multiple stories buildings.
A decent selection of weaponry, with rarity levels as well.
Got an RPG Progression system.
MTX can be iffy for some, a tad pricy, but if you want to support the devs then by all means!
You can play solo or multiplayer with friends or strangers who decided to join your lobby.
Player affected marketplace (even when playing solo)

CONS:
- Godawful UI and UX (Opening inv is a hassle, quick using items nonexistent, no hotbars)
- MUCH MUCH MUCH needed QoL improvements! like... MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH NEEDED!

BUT!, the cons outweighs the fun I've been having and I'm sure for more time to come!
Give it a shot! It's free!

Played dozens of hours in Origin when it was still there; Guess Respawn saw the opportunity for a bigger playerbase (and whales) and opened up shop in Steam.

Best movement system for an FPS game (granted I've yet to play Titanfall 2)
A plethora of QoL aspects; Innovated the amazing ping system which almost all BR games have adopted today, which totally helps for players who doesn't like to voice chat.

Devs always coming up with new stuff each season (mew maps, mechanics, characters, etc)
The characters themselves are very straightforward with their skills and compliment each other very nicely.

Be warned, there are mtx in this game, and they ain't pretty. Very pricey compared to their counterparts.
But I can still wholeheartedly recommend this game because even as an F2P player, you're still gonna have a gawddamn blast.

Seriously though, give it a shot, its free! What do you have to lose?

And remember, "Clips are what civvies use in their hair, this is called a magazine."

Very short game. Played on Hard at first and switched to Medium (Hard was very doable, but it gets tedious)

Early verdict: 6/10 Recommend to buy on Deep Sale

Gameplay 6/10
Very repetitive, not much of enemy variety. Got crafting and upgrading (equipment and skills), but all too shallow to make it memorable. Although it does help to dish out extra damage.
Very few equipment to choose from.
Sooo many back-and-forth, and semi-re-spawning enemies which is more than a nuisance than a challenge (hence the lowering difficulty)

Story 7/10:
Not bad actually. Despite how short the game is, it explains quite a lot on the world and the dynamics between factions.

Graphics 6/10:
For a 2013 game I expected better, but then again, it's a small Spider game.
And very few variety for location, but then again, see above.
Industrial is industrial, a crap ton of brownish dusty areas, and some copy pasted tunnels/dungeon.
Overall gloomy atmosphere (not a minus, fits the theme of the game)

Voice acting 7/10:
Surprisingly solid. Yes there are some less than good ones here and there, but overall, I liked it.
Props to most of the VAs.

Story 6/10:
Considering the constraints (short game, small world). I'm satisfied.
There are choices to be made that will probably change the journey and ending, but I can't be arsed to do another tedious playthrough just to see all of em.

It's an OK game, nothing to write home about. But enjoyable enough that you get your (discount price) money's worth.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when i bought it when it was still EA.
But boy am I glad I did.

PROS:
- Open World (quite the size)
- Survival elements
- RPG elements (leveling up and all that)
- Crafting
- Quests and side quests that are actually fun to do
- Decent and almost all fully voice acted NPCs
- Amazing ambiance, atmosphere. And the art style of the landscape just adds it to the cake
- Combat, melee and firearms, and more tactical stealth than run n gun
- And an actually interesting story

CONS:
- Not the best UI, especially inventory management
- Not the most optimized, so might wanna set to medium on some of the quality options for stable FPS (I'm running 1070)
- Wished there were more firearms variety (but just a nitpick)
- ANNOYING UNNECESSARY JUMPSCARES (it just downplays the already amazing atmosphere)

All in all, I'm giving this an 8/10.
Because the PROS immensely outweighs the CONS.
Get it. Support the devs.

CS:GO Review
Easy to get into, yet really hard to master. If you like twitch reflex fps with strategy involved and teamwork and have been living under the rock for the past decade. Get this..

It's a great game. Fun and yet quite deep crafting. Moddable game versions. Fun combat I think.
But only if you can get it to play. Or connect to servers. Which I have keep failing to do.

EDIT : Server getting better and playable now.

Would definitely recommend but always keep in mind that this is Early Access.
Always do some research on the game's current build before purchasing..

Great Game. It's like a stealth, horror, roguelite with a nice story in it. I thought the gameplay was a tad bit repetitive with a lot of going back and forth, but it wasn't that bad. Combat is nice, you get this old school arsenal so planning while fighting is a must. Sound is amazing, from the sound of enemies to the listening of objectives, immensely good. The visual though, whether you choose to use the default or coloured, they're both strikingly beautiful and so vibrant.

8/10
