How can something so simple be so captivating and thrilling?

Peaked on first try while playing with friends. The sheer terror and adrenaline when slipping near an edge is something I haven't felt in a game since forever. VR mode when?

Fresh gameplay with an emphasis on teamwork. Constant updates with a feel of being part of something bigger.

Sick mech fights with natural movement. Tiring after a few rounds and pulled a muscle once. Recommended!

I'm amazed.. the immersion and the environment this game offers. I felt like i had to write this review to capture my initial thoughts of the experience. I caught myself leaving no stone unturned in every room i visited. Almost every prop in the game could be interacted with. Even a moldy and moist newspaper could be read to further get into the HL-universe. In the first few rooms i caught myself saying "my god" out loud beacuse of the amount of detail the developers at Valve put into this.

I'll return when i've finished the game.

This experience is a MUST-HAVE for VR enthusiasts. The gunplay is fantastic and for those who still want to play HL3: this is it. Valve was just waiting for a revolutionary way to deliver it. Each chapter has it's own vibe and creatures. The light-hearted might even get a good spook out of this. I'm gonna revisit this game in the future when more workshop items are available. A multiplayer game such as gmod which was based on HL2 in this engine would be INSANE.

More refined than the first, but at the same time it feels also a bit too refined. Also no replays after endless :( I want to see my rounds in "real time".

After countless hours of shooting red guys i still get the same amount of satisfaction as the first time.

Really rewarding when you actually nail a level on hard. Still trying to get a hang of deadeye..
