Surprised to have so much fun with this game.
Engaging and full of potential, simple but complex.
Great visuals too.
It's like rock paper scissors but on a grand scale. As fun to watch as to play.

The game goes from looking simple and peaceful to slowly dragging you into its own logic and its own pace.
Yeah, graphics are gorgeously simple and it all looks cozy. But in in this little fox's world, danger is real and the ruins hide deep secrets.
It's a pretty chill game to play because of the very strong sense of ambience and how it al just fits in.
That said, no one could argue that it plays pretty much like a soulslike. And thus it shares with games like Elden Ring that foreboding sense of discovery and wonder, and also a deep respect for the darkness as much as reverence for the light.

This is a special game. This is a game where the director controls the game through a broken manual for which you find the pieces in the wrong order, which pretty much makes and break your journey and growth in the game world.

Engrossing and challenging if quietly so, this is a game that everyone should play.

This game is insane and I say it in a good way. Well, the game is pretty insane in its own bad way too.

Basically it's a very satisfying puzzle game with wild visuals and where gameplay suits the story.

A pure indie gem.

Solid and engaging dicebuilder. It actually lets you keep a more steady pace and have more control of your hands.
I see this becoming a fan favorite. It's fun to play.
Actually it's pretty amazing.

Fantastic cozy city builder. Relaxing or demanding as you choose it.

Graphics and animations are really hitting the spot.

A lot of options and expansion possibilities.

Great in coop, you can basically specialize each player to do their thing. And you can even wear clothes and accesories for your chosen profession!

This is the new big PCVR game period.

I mean, in the vein of Vertigo 2 this is a very well crafted and fun VR game. You have it all here, and nothing is presented as an obstacle or something annoying in the name of realism or something similar. Everything is FUN.

You have swords, and melee fighting is actually fun and works well. I'm gonna be harsh and say it's more fun than Behemoth which I was having fun with before this one. You can behead people and actually stab and parry, it works really well.

Then you have guns which are done well, physical reloading like swinging it back to make the cartridge load. I mean, that's always fun, I remember it was so much fun in Hover Junkers. But it's never clunky, you can reload and drop clips as much as you want but there's also a shortcut to keep shooting. Also it feels good to shoot down sights.

Then you have climbing and it's done well, reminds me of Beanstalkers. But it's also good for finding secrets and different paths which this game has a lot of.

World is visually stunning, very fresh designs and aesthetic. Even if production values are not off the roof, graphics are GOOD and art direction is the carry here. It feels familiar and alien at the same time.

I honestly think this game does everything right and deserves recognition by players all around. It's a game made with FUN in mind and a lot of attention to detail. And it shows. what you get is a fun game to play that engages you with actual mechanics left and right, while immersing you in a wonderful scifi/fantasy world (see? They did it, as they combined swords and guns in equal proportion).

To sum up, this is a fantastic sleeper hit, this is to me the VR GOTY of 2025, I don't care about franchises or licenses or big names. This is a dream come true for all of us PCVR fans.

Get it. Run don't walk as they say. Games like this are what you got the headset for,

I wanted to like it because I've always dreamed of playing theHunter Call of the Wild in VR.

Ok. Controls were atrocious. The grab point to handle the rifle loading was almost impossible to register. Very nitpicky and honestly I've tried other realistic gun games with handling and they were perfectly manageable. This was TORTURE.

And I don't think it's fair to ask every game to be H3VR but this was unmanageable, very bad experience on what should be a basic mechanic in this game.

I think it's the first time I refund a game before I finish the tutorial. But I can't throw my money like this.

I walked up to the shooting range and tried to follow the instructions to load the rifle. It was an excruciating process and honestly I never got to find the grab spot for the lock thing. It was very frustrating and frankly if guns work like this, then this is not a game I can play or enjoy.

Everything else in the game is "Fine" without being fully ok. Graphics look decent I guess. Menus are horrible and complex.

So I'll be refunding, I'll buy something else instead.

Edit - Reply to dev:

Some clarification. I was using the right input, as directed by the tutorial. The exact spot where the gun part would light up in blue or whatever color and let me grab it was TINY. It was very hard to pinpoint and I had little to no visual feedback. I was grabbing near it randomly in every close point from every angle I could.

Now that means it was not well designed. I have years of experience playing VR games and I never had this problem. I'm not an idiot.

So if that's how this game works when it works, I can't play it because doing a small task like this is torture. I'll just go play evey other game that works and doesn't have me looking for a way to grab a weapon part for 20 minutes.

This game looks pretty bad visually, I think it's a very divisive visual style.

Still, it's a very solid deckbuilder with some amazing mechanics that anyone who loves the genre should play.

Nowadays deckbuilders are a dime a dozen, everyone just builds up on Slay the Spire's legacy, so half their game is basically that. This one does add a couple dimensions of complexity to the formula and it has good ideas on the bosses.

More important, it's pretty fun.
