I spent a long time on this game honestly and I find it good. But just good. The gameplay mechanics etc. are probably CS:GO's strongest point as it brings a sense of skill, like in CoD you can pick your favourite weapon and just spray, which works. But other than that the game gets pretty bland. The gamemodes are quite repetitive, it's just FFA, demolition and S&D (and the hostage gamemode but no one plays that). This is quite empty in comparison to other major FPS games, so people can get very bored in a quick amount of time as I found myself doing. CS:GO is mainly fun when you're playing with people you know as a team. Without that it gets repetitive and boring and seems like a waste of money.

The graphics and scenery in CS:GO are very plain and bland, I do realise this game release date and how it cannot keep up with recent games and how they're converted onto new consoles etc. to run at greater detail. To create a more detailed game with better graphics there would either have to be a ridiculous update to the current game or just an entire new game which is refurbished, which is the best option. The mapping and map designs are decent. However again, in comparison to other games, the maps will seem quite boring and empty or just plain simple.

The guns bring a fair all around to the game with no "pay to win" system. Which is good. No team will have a specific unfair advantage as you have to just perform well to in turn get the money to purchase the weapons ingame. This is also great since you don't have to "level up" to unlock that certain weapon you may wish to use. It's all there for you to use in its entirety.

All together it is an enjoyable game, though it can get quite boring. Make sure you have friends you can play with or it can get bland quickly. I rate a 7.5/10.
