Pretty fun

Pretty much the only thing that's stylized are the characters, and everything else is just reused assets and look like ♥♥♥♥. The loading times suck, I can't imagine something like this should take as long to load as it does. The character customization is very limited, and there's multiple seconds of delay from when you select something in the customization to when it registers. Very bad first impressions, and considering this whole thing is essentially just an asset flip from the previous game, you might as well just play that instead.

Doodoo ah war mechanics

This is genuinely the worst videogame that I have played this year, without a doubt. The menus in this game are by far the worst that I have ever seen in any game, I don't think someone could make menus this god awful if they actively tried to. The game is also full of level 600 sweats who do nothing but play this game all day every day of their sorry lives, though ig that one isn't on the game itself. The gameplay itself is just your standard fps gameplay, nothing too special. Another MASSIVE issue is that despite this game already being very overpriced at $70 and likely won't ever be on sale in the foreseeable future, it also has a $30 battlepass, a whole $30 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars for a battlepass in a game that's already above standard full price. On top of that it's also full of more god awful microtransactions than your average mobile gacha game, which is a feat of itself. I strongly recommend against purchasing this game, its a waste of not only your money but also your time, and it'd be better to just spend that on something that's actually good.

The atmosphere is phenomenal with great world building and an at first confusing, but amazing story. It's a game that's best experienced blind.

Barely any character customization and the character customization that does exist is horrible. Locked into certain classes instead of being able to fully customize your own. Cartoony graphics style which I'm not really a fan of, I mean, have you seen the horses faces? Micro-transactions for in game currency. Overly simplistic combat. It even has just about even concurrent players with Mordhau now meaning it's dying much quicker. Mordhau is better in just about every aspect. Though if you want a game with no skill required with it's overly simplistic combat, and a skill ceiling lower than the ground this might be for you.

High skill barrier, though it feels very rewarding when you break it. I've played it off and on since release and it's probably my favorite game right now. The patchies may come slow, but it's a very small dev team after all, and when the patchies do come, they're pretty high quality. The combat is pretty in-depth and the customization for your mercenaries is amazing.

Ubisoft's launcher tells me I don't own it even though I launched it through Steam.
