I waited until I have put in substantial game-time (1,300 hrs) as to be fair to the early release time that I am providing my feedback. First, let me advise you that this will be a mix of pros & cons. This will hurt and help the players who have yet to purchase the game, decide if it is what they are looking for.
• The game has unmatched graphics - they are...realistic, and will only get better when upgrading to UE 5.
• 1st and most important drawback is lag. Servers can really only run smooth up until about 25-40 players.
• The game's about survival not PvP, and when closer to release, it'll become more so. However there is PvP.
• The server host setup for players private hosting is abysmal. It might as well be written in Elamite.
• Optimization is the main lag culprit, but it's being addressed with every patch. I trust it will be ready in time.
• UI does take a few hours to adjust to, but once you're muscle memory kicks in, you're Neo in the Matrix.
• Base Building is decent. The lock-picking is easy, but hopefully they allow stronger/more lock protection.
• All developers are down-to-earth, and their official discord is monitored very well by both devs and mods.
• Their leader Tomislav is a twitter-leaking trolling bastard, but we all love him, and I bet he's a great dad!

---This next bit is my rant on a broken system that everyone has mastered. I'm just adding my thoughts.

Everything's skill based, and you can choose your skills. You may start with great skill in one thing and trash everything else or be an all 'rounder, or just somewhere in between. The drawback is in the programming. You can choose to max out one skill and make the top tier craft-able items from day one, so there is far less value in earning XP or staying alive to endure the AWESOME metabolism system they are about to start rolling out in v.06. Currently, all you have to do is just remake a character for what you're wanting to do. Now obviously this will likely change before 1.0 is released, but for now there are no benefits for the continuation of your life...which is after all what the Webster's dictionary defines as the meaning of survival. Sure, they also mention it is based on living longer than something else, but any unbathed, two-toothed monkey can camp-n-snipe from 1,000m away and throw a .50 slug into someone's nugget. I love the game, and the direction/risks that the folks at Gamepires are taking. I give it a 9/10.

Stuck at home because of kung-flu? Don't have the time to venture out to your favorite fishing hole? Power this game up and get as close to the real experience as you currently can. The game play is smooth and the graphics are very clean! Just watch out for the monsters in the lake. They'll turn your pole into a pretzel faster than watermelon seeds at a Gallagher show!

A chaotic game of bouncing pouncing and trouncing! Come hug your friends and beat, steal and block your enemies to win the GOLDEN CROWN! Quick games with very smooth game play...smooth in the sense that the program runs clean. Your avatar however will be repeatedly beaten, tripped, and of course falling off the course. It's laughable fun for just about everyone.

If you like strategy, play it a few times, and see what you think. Understand it's still in development, but so far, there is so much potential, this could become VERY popular real quick!

An almost perfect clone to Hearthstone with just a few added tweaks. It's nice they are giving away cash, but the server population is pretty low.
