Seen a few mixed reviews on this game but I really enjoy it - much more than a lot of other store/job simulators.
I enjoy the casualness and not running out of time actually making the potions & wands. There is absolutely no timer in the workshop, so you can mess around with new recipes and your orders without the stress of rushing.
It's easy to level up your reputation and get money and love the quality of life upgrades you get for free in your workshop as you progress. I also appreciate having the recipes in front of you/next to you as you work on items as well; I think it saves a lot of mistakes when you don't have to remember certain ingredient steps or pull up a recipe book constantly to actually make them.
I find a lot of job sims are pretty stressful at a certain point even on normal mode, but this game does not even cross that line at all for me. It really touches base that it is a cozy, casual game.
The art style is gorgeous too. This game ticks pretty much every box for me, I'm interested to see if DLCs will come out or not!

Loved playing this game. It's a really short game with an impacting storyline about the environment, dealing with loss and guilt. The movement of the character was really fun, felt smooth yet fast. Loved the minimal combat as well as the exploration/jumping puzzles.
Art style is really adorable too. The colour palettes are beautiful.
Worth the money! <3

I have played this game since the original release and LOVED it. I'm in my late 20s and loved growing up with dress up PC games so I was really excited for this. The ORIGINAL story was engaging and not too childish. It was so mysterious and exciting. Combat is easy and the puzzles are easy too (some fairly finicky and challenging which I appreciate). Photo mode is probably my favourite aspect of the game (besides making cute outfits) as there is so much you can do creatively to make a beautiful picture. I love that you can pause poses, add filters and lighting. I also found it so cozy that it was a purely solo game with small aspects of community. Posting pictures and being able to join another player's photo and/or have people join yours was such a cute idea that I've never seen before (I wish it stayed that way). I loved how much there was to do, but after I finished the story and crafting the first miracle outfit I went on a hiatus for a couple of months.

I recently got back into it after the release on steam and I had no idea the amount of changes they had made let alone the volume of bugs.

Firstly: They changed the entire opening story - No more Nikki in her attic finding her mother's old clothes, no more interesting back story of who Nikki and Momo as character's are, where they came from, what their purpose is. Instead you're whipped into a new intro that is cinematically beautiful but lacking in story telling. You're pretty much just running through the collapse of a solar system? And Momo is not in sight. I was genuinely confused the whole time. My initial thought was that it was an event, but after reading about it - it's the new story line. I am genuinely shocked they scrapped entire lore behind the story.

Secondly: Adding an entire island for co-op - which on paper sounds fun, except it's not. It's a whole island based around childish play toys (seesaw, changing into animals, jumping on bubbles). Visually it is beautiful, however the implementation of co-op is severely awkward. Running up to people to "illuminate" with them just for them to run around with you aimlessly and making it impossible to capture photos with them. I had someone illuminate with me and we tried to sit on a bench together for a group photo and it wouldn't let either of us select the option for the photo mode. I've seen a few people on social media having similar if not worse experiences (being flown off into the ocean and dying).

Thirdly: The extent of the bugs in the game even when solo is disappointing to say the least. Nikki's dialouge is constantly being cut off (voice acting), the appearance of her in cutscenes or in world (bald, invisible, dyes not showing up the colour you changed them to etc). Momo's view saying there's a Whimstar around but when you track it, it's not there. Menu showing notifications that aren't there OR not showing them at all. Deletion of photos that you didn't delete, putting people in minus for their stars (stars cannot be bought with real money) and diamonds. Constant reconnecting to the server and game crashes. The launcher taking forever to exit and needing to use task manager to stop it from running.

People have been bringing up a lot of these issues with Infold however they are deleting comments and reviews regarding the state of the game and that is severely upsetting. They have also started making bot accounts for steam to leave good/recommended reviews. This company unfortunately does not care about their player base.

I'm not one to play gacha games but this has really turned me off them for a long time. I could speak a lot on how predatory the game has gotten since it's initial release, but it's not even worth my time.
I'm really upset they have plummeted this game into the ground. I have little hope that Infold will listen to their audience.

TL;DR: Game is a buggy mess. Devs are greedy and dishonest. Co-op sucks. Changed lore without letting anyone know. Don't waste your time or money.

This game is gorgeously designed and thought out. The skills, combat, bosses and puzzles were all really fun for me. I love the side of collectables too, such a lovely small detail to give the rots different hats (they're so cute). The mixture between weapons (bombs, melee and ranged) was really enjoyable to play!

The story was touching and quite moving for me, I wasn't in tears like some other games I've played but regardless; the journey to help spirits move on from the physical world will always be a tear-jerker.
Kena is also a beautiful character and I loved her compassion and courage.

I really enjoyed this short game and anyone who likes fantasy, puzzle/adventure genres would be sure to enjoy it too. I was able to finish the game including collectables (meditation spots, rot, treasure etc) in about 11 hours!

I don't think it's possible to describe this game in one word because it's just out of this world. I loved A Way Out and It Takes Two but this just takes the cake.

Phenomenal level designs, great story line (can definitely be a tear jerker if you have experienced loss). Outstanding music, graphics and character design. The way the camera angles would change so smoothly, the movement of the players, the skills/spells each character had in the levels; was never a dull moment. The side stories were such a nice break from the main quest, like little mini games; some silly, some stressful. The main story was so much fun, frantic, chaotic, emotional and funny. I loved the character background stories and their incredible growth. Both Mio and Zoe are so gorgeously thought out.

The way it moves between genres felt like a breath of fresh air. I had so much fun in every single level, there was not a moment where I was bored. The difficulty level has increased since It Takes Two but the challenge is riveting. Finding easter eggs was super awesome too.
This game is so innovative I don't know how any other game can compare, the devs have raised the bar for how a game should be!
Last level spoiler: The last level split screen of cyber and fantasy was insanity. Moving between the same map in two worlds was the coolest thing I have ever experienced. I have never audibly gasped so much before over a game. I simply didn't want it to end.

If you want this game, GET THIS GAME! you will NOT be disappointed. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

I saw so many videos of this game and thought it looked really fun but I did not realise what I was in for. This is the most innovative game I have played to date. Some games are good, some are great but this one is just so special. The levels are so creative and blew all my expectations out of the water. Just when I thought the game was coming to an end, we were taken to another phenomenal level. The movement and controls are so fun, it feels so smooth. The puzzles felt very clever and I loved working through them with my partner. It was also really fun that both characters had a role in each level, they really focused on showing that one was not better than the other; nor could one continue without the other. The story was funny and emotional at the same time, with small parts of ... darkness. I really feel at a loss for words to describe how remarkable this game is.
I could not recommend it enough!!

Where do I even begin.. This game was captivating, scary, emotional, heartbreaking and infuriating. Elliot Page did an outstanding job playing Jodie. I loved this story and adventure and I sincerely did not want to put it down. The graphics, movement, controls, music, environments and locations were incredible. The use of Aiden through out the game was really fun to control, and was quite easy to be influenced to do "bad" things (but I think that really goes to show how good your self control is, which I think is cool).
I love how interactive the game play is as well, shaking the controller and a lot of choices for decisions; small or big.
I personally love the way the story jumps through the timeline, I have seen some people say they don't like that but to me it definitely kept me on edge to keep playing. I really had no idea how the story would play out and I'm surprised it has taken me this long to actually finish a game play.
I'm super interested to know what the other endings are so I will pick it up again to see.
I really recommend this game if you have been looking at getting it, I wholeheartedly think this is one of the best games I have played. (also get tissues, don't say I didn't warn you!)

A beautiful game, much shorter than I expected but the art style was absolutely gorgeous and the movement mechanics were a lot of fun and really simple to pick up. The puzzles were quite easy for me to complete however it's a good thing if you like games that aren't too confusing with how to progress. The journal/art book was a really cute addition, seeing the raw artwork of all the animals/machines was a lovely touch. I love the art style inspiration that has been taken from Studio Ghibli. It was mesmerizing. The music and atmospheric sounds were a 10/10 for me. I also loved the environmental sounds of walking/gliding through water, snow and grass.
I thoroughly enjoyed this play through and I look forward to what Future Friends is working on next.
