After 3 months still not in a playable state.
Runs worse than 2020 while rarely, if at all, looking any better.
I retried MSFS2020 after abandoning it for the last months.
It's just better.
You can download parts of the world (which is supposed to be coming to 2024, but who knows when), and while I'm aware that MSFS2024 is counting on cloud infrastructure to be the next thing, even with a good 1GBit connection, I'd rather be able to download 300 to 500 Gigs if it means stuff doesn't load in 5 seconds after I want to look at it.
Don't even get me started on the bugs in career mode or the insane amount of BAD AI usage, for text generation as well as text to speech. It sounds like 1 person had to do the QA for every single voice line, and he was on vacation half of that time.

MSFS2024 - 25 FPS while on Low, looking bad
MSFS2020 - 45-75 FPS while on High (some on Mid), looking good

Save this for a sale in mid 2026 to 2027, if they can manage to fix all of this.
