PSA:
Nobody wants to hear you coughing your phlegm-filled lungs out and eating the world's crunchiest chips in front of a jet engine turbine while your spouse yells at you in the background and a tiny angry dog yips at a baby that's crying its head off because your mechanical keyboard sounds like gunshots that the sirens outside are responding to.

The game defaults to open mic and many people will skip that first screen to get into the game. If people have to mute you, whatever you might have to say will be completely lost. So please, unless you have an accessibility reason for using open mic, use push to talk. I promise, it won't kill you. Then everyone, including you, can enjoy voice chat and leave it on and not have to mute anyone :)

Lets get it out of the way:
YES there is a HUGE issue with crashing. I can not play the game for more then 15 minutes or less without it suddenly hitching on a frame, and then crashing. It is very disheartening considering how long I've waited to play this game in the fidelity that my PC has to offer.
Despite all of this, continue reading if you're looking for a reason to purchase once the game is fixed:

Story:
You will feel things playing this game that you simply can not feel playing other games. A provocation of a deep gut churning emotion is something that the developers of this game have mastered, and the actors executed their performances to a degree I have yet to see in movies or television. This game didn't just affect me as a young boy when it came out. As I grew up, I learned to understand the underlying emotions and profound effects that certain things in this game had on the characters within it.
If you're 15 playing this game, you'll get it. If you're 21+ playing this game, you'll GET it.

Graphics:
In my opinion, this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing games to have ever come out. Every aspect of every environment has been beautifully crafted down to the finest details. Searching houses shows a story of what could have happened to whoever was there before. The overgrowth taking back the decaying cities and suburbs is complimented with scarily real looking enemies and friends.
Vibrant when it should be, but dark when it needs to be. All the while staying true to its highly immersive environments that will truly captivate any player that comes across them.

Attention to detail:
This games attention to detail is unmatched. Bruises form, wounds will actively bleed down your face, and your dead enemies will form pools of blood after they are dispatched.
enemies wounds will also stay true to their severity; if head-shots don't blow their heads off, they will surely be left with a clear entry and exit wound. enemies will beg for you to let them go, and you can deal with them in a variety of ways.
upgrading your guns at workbenches will provide a great visual and auditory experience as you see your guns get improved with joels handiwork. You see your guns getting their improvements, the finished product in built in front of your eyes in a comprehensive way that just makes sense.

Overall:
Once this game is fixed, and by that I mean when the crashing is no longer an issue, this title is a MUST HAVE.
You NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME!

For starters, I am not a a very critical gamer, and I only really leave negative reviews when it is REALLY bad. but this game has really reached a new low for call of duty. Aside from the campaign, this is hands down one of the worst multiplayer experiences I've ever had in any game, listed below in pros and cons:

Pros:
-Decent graphics
-Nice sound design
-Phenomenal (but sometimes corny) campaign

Cons:
-You have to accept an agreement to be nice lmao RIP pre and post game trash talk!
-Botched weapons leveling system. I have to level up a completely different gun to a certain level in order to unlock an attachment for the gun I actually use
-Server issues causing bullets to go right through people I shoot at with no markers. netcode is absolutely trash.
-no public or private K/D ratio, this is the first COD that I am actually good at, yet this is the first COD where I can't even show it off, unbelievably disapointed in this.
-HORRENDOUSLY CONFUSING UI for all menus. buttons in places they shouldn't be
-an unimaginable amount of camping opportunities to be abused
-no rewarding feeling when leveling anything up (I hardly know what guns or attachments I have because it is so easy to miss)

The list goes on, but the more I type, the more disapointed, and frankly sad I get to see such a cherished franchise go in such a terrible direction. What happened with this game? Whoever made MW2019 should be honoured to have been a part of such a masterpiece COD title. Whoever made MW2-2022, however, should be ashamed to have killed the core of COD multiplayer gameplay, and turned it into a grindy hollow UI maze nightmare.

Good thing the campaign is pretty good, or this game would tank.

this mod is sososo easy to mod, and I'm on my 3rd replay of it right now. Loving every second. WATER PHYSICS EUGHEUHGUEUHHGH

this game is awesome. it's brought so many of my friends and I together. Insane how I have friend groups that were made from phasma bringing us together. I love this game and I love you to the developers of this game, for making something truly unifying inn my life, in the most crucial time.

best game I've ever played in terms of enjoyment in the moment. the realistic scenes with global illumination looks gorgeous. please get this game, the storytelling is unlike any other game this year!

I play this all the time with my girlfriend we love horror, this suits us well.
