Hmmm if there was something I always take with me it's probably my watch, never leave home without it though I seldom use it it comforts me and has become (I think) a genuine part of my insignificant existance, I also tend to use the M4A1 quite a bit, it may be low damage but it's one of the best mid-range guns of all time.

A zombie outbreak. Well my first preference towards zombies is the m1014 automatic shotgun, its quite versatile and is quite usefull in sticky situations, but I know as well as all of us that we can't attain what our heart's desire and so I commend my second choice the uzi, yes I know, many people don't like using it because "DUDE YOU CAN'T CROWN!!!! T_T :P" well I generally don't crown unless im in the mood for it (thats when I take the pump action) but the uzi has a good damage and fire-rate and has great range, though it cant decapitate it's a great weapon for teamplay.
