Overall, the game isn't there. It's a combination of being repetitive, with the same KO animation playing over and over, the same training over and over. Then when you get in the ring, the game does the cardinal sin of not giving enough player feedback, so you know what is and isn't working, and also having sticky controls, where sometimes the boxer doesn't respond to your input.

Game doesn't utilize typing skills at all, and instead the interface is just typing commands with no skill or speed required. Think turn based exploration.

To add onto the disappointment the "Maps" are random, with no rhyme of reason to them. The "hacking" minigame is trying to match , exactly, a WPS challenge. I.E: type 16 words per second, if you go over you don't unlock and have to try again.

The secnario design of this game is absolutely terrible, forcing the player to play the way the Dev wanted you, instead of exploring the mechanics and learning through your own methods.

Don't waste your time on this game. The starter decks are very uncompetitive, and each deck is very random. Hard to get consistent results from a deck without grinding a lot

Do NOT play the story scenarios, they are extremely unbalanced, and have multiple issues.

The game has no matchmaking, thus you get matched against people way above your skill level. As well the current meta is obtuse and confusing on how to counter, and everyone is using it.

In the end, multiplayer is no longer fun.

Try the demo. Reminds me of puzzle quest, the connect 3 rpg, except its poker. Fun, and enough different heroes with different strategies.

While a fun game setting up your traps and monsters, the difficulty is completly random and ruins the fun. Champions can come that you aren't setup for, or a single hero can randomize your party setup. These unfair difficulty spikes ruined the game for me.

This game is very inspired by Darkest Dungeons and has very similar mechanics. What differentiates it is the theme and a few overworld mechanics (Involving upgrading your base, learning spells). The mechanics are varied enough to differentiate it from Darkest Dugneon, and was an enjoyable experience.

The pacing of the game has a few issues. Once you get your star squad setup , you are either going to plow through the game, or encounter an enemy that can ignore your strategy. The game goes on a bit too long, and the ending , if we can call it that, does not resolve anything.

Play if you enjoy Darkest Dungeon, or are looking for more int hat genre.
Avoid if you are looking for a story-intensive game, or enjoy the theme.

Way to repetitive, the core gameplay loop doesn't change, and the game quickly becomes a grind
