I actually got this game initially for my other half on the weekend it was released, but he had (of course) already bought it for himself. So I thought, what the hell, I'll give it a go. I hadn't played a RE game before, so wasn't really sure what to expect. What I ended up with was my favourite ever game experience & I feel like I've been chasing this level of satisfaction since. With the game split into different & very defined sections, there's a really nice blend of puzzles, horror, exploration, story & conflict. The design of the characters and levels is fantastic (especially the castle & THAT part of the House Beneviento). It my opinion, the first half of the game is definitely stronger than the later half, but I would definitely recommend this to anyone on the fence. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!
