I'm in love with this game, it's a bit brutal and survival can be difficult at first, but world exploration is so rewarding, and I keep coming up with new stories as I play. I absolutely enjoy roaming free of any plot or main story quests, it's a nice change of pace.
Was a big fan of Fallout 1/2 games as a kid, and Kenshi gives me the same thrill of adventure now. Actually, faction system makes the world of Kenshi feel alive like in no other game.

My first character lost a leg, got robbed by bandits and barely escaped slavery just to be eaten by dogs like 20 minutes in, 11/10.

(Also modding community is awesome, plenty of quality of life and outright world scenario changing mods, highly recommend to check them out)

Early Access Review
The game is amazing - engaging gameplay, very stylish and beautiful. I opened it to kill half an hour, and spent 4 hours playing.
Love the character design. Love the aesthetics. The map looks very nice and is pleasant to navigate.
Crafting and combat feels very fluid, and everything is explained rather well so far. You can turn into a wolf, how cool is that!
Haven't looked into PvP or the abundance of custom rules for worlds yet, PvE is more than enough for now.
I've started building my castle, and already gifted the game to my wife to play together. 11/10

Well, I'm really surprised, I haven't expected this game to be that awesome.
I instantly fell in love with the characters and the atmosphere. The plot is so captivating, that I spent 10 hours playing first time I've opened the game, without even noticing. It's the first game in ages, that managed to keep my attention for so long. I'm glad I've discovered it.
I'm loving everything about the story and how it's delivered. The soundtrack is so perfect, it literally gives me goose bumps. Let's say, if Phoning Home were a movie, I'd watch the hell out of it.

I just wish the game were a little more polished. The constant struggle with quirky physics takes a bit from enjoyment (I mean, I ended up dying in textures more times than from any real in-game threats, and it can be frustrating).
But all the other aspects of the game are so exellent, that I'm happy to overlook these issues and keep playing.

Overall, Phoning Home totally goes in my personal top 10. Especially if there will be more bugfixing updates.
