I have been playing this game for a while in Early Access, and I truly do love this game, the concept is awesome and the execution is pretty dang good.

HOWEVER, I cannot recommend this game to anyone who expects a flawless experience post 1.0.
The game is absolutely riddled with bugs / oversights, and was definitely not ready for 1.0 release, in its current state I'm not gonna lie, it almost seems more glitchy than it did a year ago.

The 1.0 release feels incredibly rushed, and I would have much preferred the game being in early access limbo over this, because this does not feel like a full release.
I very much hope the dev will continue working on the game and perhaps get it to the state i would have expected.

This game is incredibly fun.
However since I am a game modder lets go more under the hood, the code base for this game is exceedingly bad, it was written in unity, which on it's own is not a bad thing, lots of impressive games came from unity, such as Risk of Rain 2. However where the issue comes in is that once you look under the hood it
feels like everybody's first unity project.
From the lack of any kind of security on the networking side, to a complete lack of optimization (for example finding game objects and scripts using the Find() function rather than storing a reference in a static field), to using HDRP for basically no reason (as far as I can tell), to storing the same variables in 4 different places by hand.

The list of issues goes on but I do not want to rip on the game too much as I absolutely adore it.
For a solo dev, with seemingly very little actual game development experience, I am just impressed this game ever made it to the public, which is more than i could ever say of my own projects.

I suck at this game so i modded it into a Mario Kart clone.

Bestest game ever, totally not writing this review for fake internet points. Pepega.
