Keeping this up until Paradox fixes the 💩show that is 2.2. And no, reverting to 2.1 is not an option as I reasonably expected a functional product and I paid full ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ launch price for the DLC that depends on 2.2.

Let's just say that few games other than Civilization have ever made me to stay up all night thinking just one more (turn/change/rewrite) until sunlight starts seeping in through the window.

Just be aware that this is a programming game/puzzle and might not appeal to everyone. Still, I'm a linguistics postgrad so there's the anecdotal evidence you don't absolutely have to be GLORIOUS STEM MASTER RACE an engineering or science major to enjoy this :D

WHO'S THE TASER NOW SUCKER

I don't have much to say about the gameplay of this game since I gave up on it a couple of months earlier, for it's buggy, controls are tedious, often gives you literally instant death starts, and the graphics are just outright horrendous, reminiscent of cheap point-and-click adventure games. And most importantly - the developers gave up too. It has been at least five full months since the latest update.

When you flood the market with thousands of greenlit indie, early access games, there're bound to be duds. I understand that this game was still early in development when I got it and things indeed might turn sour since life is so unpredictable, but it's still so frustrating that what you bought at a real game's price suddenly went silent with updates without giving any real explanation beforehand.

For all intents and purposes we could say that this game is effectively dead now. Consider getting Gnomoria if you liked this game's concept, it's currently in active development and even though the dev "team" seems to be just one man, he (or she?) at least gives consistent weekly updates with real content and interacts with players regularly.

Try your best to stay from it before it's too late and it gets you addicted.
