Early Access Review
Surprisingly fun and immersive for a buncha bits blasting across your screen. Amazingly smooth fully destructible map with 254 participants battling it out. I especially enjoy the gun fights and tactics with your squad. The leveling to unlock guns, and kills to unlock attachments feels like an appropriate pace. Vehicles aren't OP to tip the scale of the overall battle. Teammates are surprisingly reliable when it comes to reviving you, even if they're not on your squad. Overall, the play reminds me of the innocent fun and shenanigans of Battlefield 1942 -- but with VOIP (which isn't toxic most of the time). Speaking of toxicity, the reporting system seems pretty effective and easy -- you can even check to see what players (or yourself) has been reported for.

For the same price as an inflation fast food meal, give it a go! I've had my money's worth in entertainment.

Early Access Review
ATTN TARKOV PLAYERS: If you enjoyed hating life and the strange satisfaction of looting every container, the rat runs, the chad runs... but don't have the time anymore -- you'll love Marauders. In Tarkov Lite (Marauders) you can die and lose all your gear, and actually not feel AS devastated as full Tarkov. You still experience the challenge of inventory management, and you still experience gear fear. But worry not, your default rust bucket will supply you with the rat pack needed when avoiding players, owning NPCs, and rebuilding your wealth again to take on other players.

If you enjoyed Sea of Thieves, you do get a little bit of pirate action on your way to an instance -- from ship to ship battles, or just jump in your escape pod and breach their ship.

The game still has its bugs, but it is Early Access, so help the team and report them. This game has come a long way since closed beta, and I look forward to seeing what full release has in store as more features and NPCs (ie bosses like Red Baron) are introduced!

Slow at first, but once the story gets going, you become attached to the characters and immersed in this beautiful game.

I was so excited for Cyberpunk, I ended up waiting months to start the game because of the launch bugs. I'm glad I waited, because I ran into very few issues, and the game just looks stunning (RTX 3080). One of the scenes has been my desktop wallpaper since I took the screenshot. I ended up completing 7 of the endings, but only did the Corpo storyline. I plan to revisit the game again in the upcoming year.

And never mentioned: This game loads LIGHTNING FAST. From the time I clicked launch, and continue game, I'm on the street in 48 seconds. Yes, I timed it.

My only complaint is with all the body modifications in the Cyberpunk universe, you can't even change your hair. I had to run a 3rd party mod after regretting my initial hair choice :P

Oh, and despite loving the dynamic between V and some of the main characters, the relationships, especially female-male is cheesy.

You're going to enjoy this game or you're going to hate this game. If you're going into this for the traditional BF experience, you're already going to be disappointed. Reset the bar, thank me later.

Launch was pretty buggy, but they've worked most of the kinks out. The UI is very confusing and unnatural. A menu system should not require a steep learning curve. The game is so CPU intensive, it made obvious my CPU was barely keeping itself from melting with the OEM fan (i9 9900 & RTX 3080) so I upgraded to liquid cooling and it (and other games) are running smooth.

B-U-T -- the gameplay itself is very fun and kills/captures/wins feel rewarding. Especially once you've worked out your loadouts (tip: positioning the attachments closes to the center = starting setup) and your specialists, the game is enjoyable. It becomes even better as you become more familiar with situational loadouts and specialists -- and unlock more guns and attachments.

In hindsight, they should have launched with a more polished game, but what's done is done. Hopefully, they'll evolve the menu/UI system to be more intuitive for new players.

Ultimately, I didn't waste my money, I'm having a good time!

Beautiful game with an interesting story. I purchased the game over a year ago, but lost interest because I was distracted by side quests (and other games) and frustrated the game wasn't running as smooth as I expected on my RTX 3080. Recently, however, I learned my CPU was running REALLY HOT on CPU-intense games, and with a proper cooling setup this game ran perfect. Did I mention it's beautiful? I loved the ruins of a super advanced future (to us), yet civilization is in the Bronze Age. I am a sucker for dystopian themes, which is why I ended up staying up till 4AM as the game approached the end! Some of the voice acting was bad to the point of being distracting at times, but the rest of the game made up for it. Battle takes some getting used to, but the more resourceful you get, the easier it is. Looking forward to the sequel!

I finished Half-Life: Alyx today and it was an enjoyable experience. The graphics were beautiful. The environment was quite immersive. The gun play took some getting used to, but once you do it is really enjoyable, especially as you upgrade. The puzzles were good. Not too complicated, but not mindlessly simple, and they were also... beautiful. Navigating took some getting used to. I'm new to VR, and initially was suffering quite a bit from VR sickness... I used dramamine and eventually short sessions without to longer sessions. I still get VR sick with some movements or if my frame rates get choppy. My machine is a beast and for the most part it handled HL:A fine, but there were some moments it was throwing some yellow in the performance graph.

Overall, a fun game. I hope more top shelf games come out for VR life Half-Life: Alyx!

Very cool. I loved sitting on Disneyland and looking at the tiny model rides and attractions. I also was in awe at the amount of detail rendered. My dogs were confused as to what I was staring at on the carpet inches from the floor. The only thing I didn't like was being trapped in Google Earth with no escape. If there is an exit it was not intuitive.

I have spent the most time playing PUBG than any other game (2,020 hours as of this review) besides WoW. I enjoy the style of game, the player movement, and the gun play. It also helps having a PUBG crew you look forward to game with, are entertained by, and can rely on. I appreciate the continued communication we get from their community managers and the content season passes!

It's no secret: PUBG is notorious for its bugs and is susceptible to cheaters after every update. They have addressed various issues making the game more playable, unfortunately, sometimes it feels like a bandaid with the deeper issue not being addressed.

Nonetheless, PUBG offers a game experience that no other game has been able to replace after 2 years.

Good jorb.
