Whereas the game does not have any survival aspects at the moment, its PVE concept makes it enjoyable. I have a total of 36 hrs in the game and I believe I have already experienced the most stressful situations the game can make you feel. I have been killed by the AI using a pistol, a fully gear squad doing an easy mission and a camper who is waiting for players to finish a specific mission, so he/she can steal the cargo.

My PVE experience has been a mixture of stress and entertainment since I honestly enjoy the hardcore aspects of the missions. There are three level of difficulties; easy, medium, hard and epic. The easy and medium missions can be completed by not using a sophisticated gear, while the hard and epic missions require a better gear and more skills since the AI uses better equipment to resist more and do more damage. However, I believe the AI still needs some adjustments to allow players to complete the mission in a more tactical form. Sometimes the AI can hear you even when you are trying to complete the mission with a pistol using a suppressor. Besides, experience players have found different tricks that make the AI to be killed more easily. In fact, players can be behind a wall and be constantly picking the AI.

The PVP aspects of Deadside are still very basic to what the game is designed to be. The PVP fights makes me feel as if I were playing PUBG. Its lack of realism allows players to perform irrational plays. Furthermore, I strongly believe that base building should not be implemented at this state since most of the players have made bases near either looting areas or where all the hard missions are located. The spawn system is another big issue that I have noticed during my game hours. It still needs to be adjusted to avoid infinite fights because players who have a base near the area of a certain mission can spawn back with full gear and kill you.

The shooting physics need to be more oriented to realism. I have constantly been killed by a camper using either a VSD or a mosin at more than 200 mts away. In fact, these two rifles can kill you with one shot at any part of the body, so the devs really have to add some changes to that. Moreover, the map looks as if it were designed for sniping only because most of the missions are located in open areas.

In conclusion, the game looks very promising, but it still needs a lot of work since it has a lot of unbalances when it comes to PVP. I am hoping the devs fix the issues that I stated above and I am looking forward to keep playing this game in the future. Cheers <3.

The game is really fun. The crafting and combat system is entertaining. I honestly do not understand why people are complaining about a this game. Besides, the graphics look good and no, it is not a p2w game.

I am recommending the game for the following reasons. The developers have taken the ideas of the community seriously, which has made the game more playable. I know that big changes will not occur during this time, but I am sure that the developers are working really hard to make the necessary improvements on the game, so the steam community can enjoy the game.

There are still some factors about the toxicity of people, but I can say that there was a great reduction of toxic people when the previous update was released. The physics of the game need some improvement, but that is reasonable because the game is still on Alpha (I do believe).

In conclusion, the game is really fun to play and it is a good way to release some stress if you are playing for fun. Just keep in mind that since some people take the game very serious, you might experience misconduct from their part.

As a player who has enjoyed playing DayZ since the game was in Early Access I can honestly tell you that the game has improved in some many aspects. For instance, there was a time when hackers started to become a problem in the servers, but it was not because of lack of work of the devs but the problem was that Bohemia was not the owner of the game at that time. Once Bohemia bought the game, a different story has been unfolded. The devs took the hackers out of the servers and started to improve the realism of the game. Furthermore, I really appreciate the great work Bohemia has done to the game since it is one of the most realistic surviving game I have ever played, and I think that people should appreciate this. However, the post-apocalyptic world still needs a lot of work since the zombies are not really a problem in the game. Besides, Bohemia has allowed the addition of mods which has completely changed how the game is intended to be played. Many people just want to play a PVP game instead of a surviving game, but the decision is apt to you. I honestly believe that the mods has completely destroyed the objective of the game, but If you want to play a surviving game with a lot of realism, then go to the official servers.
