I don't hate this game, I just don't really think it's worth the time. It starts off fun, but it quickly turns into a long, boresome grind. AdVenture Capitalist had achievements and a heap of upgrades to keep you going for ages, but this just doesn't really give you any sense of progression.

I would also like it if the number system was like that of Capitalist, using the real numbers instead of confusing exponentials. You can sorta "soft reset" by buying buildings to take away all your stuff in one part of a game for a small increase in "scientists" which can boost production of things, but they don't help much.

If you don't mind having a game that you'll play rarely, you might enjoy this. But if you're looking for progression, you might not.

Give it a go if you're curious, it's free and barely takes up any space, but I wouldn't recommend this game.

As I join a premium server, my golden name shines bright to indicate my significance. As I come across a fellow player, he is blinded by the magnificence of my golden suit. He bows down and marvels at my blue skin, gold monocle and white Ra's al Ghul beard. I pull out my golden katana and hold it to his throat. He begs for mercy, but with the quick flash of a black hitmarker, he is dead. I am surrounded by multiple people, angry at my heartlessness. But they are no match for the mighty golden Desert Falcon. Within seconds, I am surrounded by corpses.

But they are all after me now, so I leave. I change into my other character to avoid suspicion, and rejoin the server. I can start life anew, free from the guilt of my past crimes.

All this was made possible by the Gold Upgrade. It's worth it.

Very underpopulated game.

It's true that finding a match on the online servers is a long and difficult experience. But if you have a couple of friends, playing is a lot of fun.

It requires a lot of practice, knowing what moves you can make and knowing when to use your spells and abilities. However, skilled PvP players can be pretty good at this game from the start. I wouldn't play this for a long time, but it's fun just to play a few matches with friends.

Just because there's not very many multiplayer lobbies doesn't make this a bad game. Multiplayer is hard, yes, but it's a good game nonetheless.

I must've spent hours getting hit by cars, blowing up gas stations, licking random people and headbutting people through walls.

By the time I got home, Goat Simulator had finished downloading. Very good game.
