A little rough around the edges and needs polish but that didn't stop me from playing. I have a lot of experience with the souls-like genre and I enjoyed it. Very cool idea of using a party in combat, that fits well in a souls-like. It works and added a unique layer of difficulty on an already difficult genre. I recommend it to Souls fans who can forgive the jank.

Excellent game!!! If you like Bloodborne, Blasphemous, and Castlevania, this is a must play! Bosses are well designed, fun to fight, and overall the game is very satisfying to play. It's not perfect (could use a few quality of life changes on the map such as showing where I dropped my souls, and the objective) but way more positives than negatives for me. I'd recommend this game to any soulslike and metroidvania fan.

Short and sweet game with beautiful art style and music. There is no combat so you progress by avoiding threats, puzzle solving, and platforming. Basic combat that anyone can pick up and very generous checkpoints to avoid any frustration. The puzzles are the challenging part, as a couple of them had me stumped for a few minutes. Aspire is a nice rewarding indie experience that you can complete in a few hours. I recommend for anyone who enjoys and appreciates an indie gem that gets you thinking and looking inward, as Ina's Tale can touch the heart.

Challenging and rewarding experience! Good variety of bosses and 3 different fighting styles to mix up the gameplay. Some bosses I beat fairly quickly and others gave me some trouble. It took more than a few attempts to learn what it took to take them down and the good thing is that once you die, you get back into the fight immediately. Highly recommend for souls-like fans!
