The gameplay mechanics itself is not impressive and can be glitchy at times, but the beauty of this game lies in the story it tells. To the Moon is easily one of the most heart-felt games I have played.

It is not a long playthrough by any means, but well worth your time and money. The characters are unforgettable and the soundtrack is just perfect. This is one of those games where when you finish, you just need to take a moment to take it all in.

A sequel of sorts is being developed and I am incredibly looking forward to that. There is also a "minisode," featuring the two main characters during Christmas, that is available for free from Freebird Games' website among other little projects and merchandise.
