The plot in the story portion of the game was fun and engaging without being distracting, the mechanics work great, modding support completes any need for extra sandbox content, and the gameplay can honestly be endless if you like the expanding, building and managing type of gameplay. It's one of my favorites, and has been since I bought the game. I only wish there were more story elements in the game to find and unravel, not connected to the main story, but maybe just for special prisoners or little snippets that can be found throughout the prisoners as you play sandbox. Either way, the game is amazing; can't recomend more.

In my opinion this game's tutorial is lacking. I was met with large amounts of text in a very small time frame, and once I began the actual game I was still thoroughly confused on what to do and where to go. I quickly became annoyed at how there are plenty of references, jokes, and memes in the game, but the game itself doesn't feel done or right. Hopefully the tutorial is bettered later in development, but for now I wouldn't personally recomend this purchase.
