My favorite Starship Troopers game

Great mystery to uncover, lot's of original ideas. If you want to feel like exploring an alien world, this is it.

The movement could be less wonky, scan->move, scan->move, scan->move, scan->move... but this is really the only nitpick.

Best Pingu game!

A game where you can tell the future and it's still challenging. You WOULD expect a small squad with this capability to take on larger forces and have a fighting chance. Both mechanically and plot-wise, that's exactly what happens. Very satisfying.

FINALLY Mechs aren't just "big humans with metal skin". If your game just slaps an HP bar to a mech, it's functionally a human. Not here, various systems and parts play with each other like a true, complex machine should. Love it.

Somehow avoids save scumming. Fights are fair, no dumb misses. Great random encounters. Good writing too. XCOM wanted to be this fun.

Nitpick: Melee combat's UI is broken for now, as soon as they fix that it's an easy 10 for me.

One of the best Monster Hunter games I've ever played

So I've just been to an IRL off-road expedition for the first time, it was amazing. This game captures more than "close enough" the feeling of it. I'm in awe.
It will definitely scratch that itch until the next one for me!

Tip: Don't go straight on mud, carve the path with your wheels.

Edit: I should make this clear: The off-road driving is really well made and fun, the actual "game" part, the pacing and the missions are massively boring.
Want a game with fun missions? Meh
Want an off-road simulator? Buy

10/10 Wood play again

Got all achievements in about 6 hours. Worth every coin. So much fun, can't wait for more.
