Amazing game. The negative reviews are from people who can't run it due to denuvo problems

I'm simply going to describe my experience in the first 10 minutes of the game, and I'll leave you to decide whether it's a game you'll enjoy. Running the game on a GTX960.

>Turn on the game - goes to options menu
>Everything defauts to around medium quality. I decide to just leave it at that.
>Interface looks ugly and reminds me of Unturned's interface.
>Extremely long loading time. The Witcher 3 on my PC loads quicker.
>Right off the bat, hideous console framerate. Game isn't locked at any partucular framerate but it ran AWFULLY (on a GTX960).
>Blatant mouse problems. The game had smoothing enabled by default, which even after turning off, the mouse movement still felt clunky and unresponsive.
>Game's visuals looked very dated.
>After all that, i decided to explore a bit. Saw a big tower on a cliff. Ran towards it, expecting to find some loot. Killed a skeleton on the way, and made my way to the door of the tower. There was a note saying how they evacuated some poeple and a door with a wooden plank blocking it (FROM THE OUTSIDE). Tried hitting it with an axe, but nothing happened. The game didn't even let me go inside this dungeon-looing structure. That turned me off so much, but I decided to give the game another chance.
>Continued down the hill and found a small harbour with a boat on it. I thought to myself that maybe I can hop on that boat and explore the seas perhaps. TO MY SURPRISE, you couldn't. You know what you can do though? Get stuck and completely unable to move between the boat and the harbour. Yep.

So, wanna give it a shot?

[NO STORY SPOILERS] I am writing this review after I have finished the whole game. "But you've played for only 5 hours!", you ask. Yes, yes I have. The game is 5 hours long. 5! And I thoght Modern Warfare 2 was short! To it's credit though, the game has multiple different endings. The ending you get is decided based on your actions during the game, instead of it being decided based on what you chose at the end. There are a total of 3 endings, some are maybe a bit more satisfying than others, but still all of them are pretty good. Every mission has 10 optional "challenges" that you can do, such as rescuing friendly soldiers, obtaining drones to help you fight, helping your friendly forces by providing covering fire, etc. I didn't really expect anything like this from a Call of Duty game to be honest. I haven't played Black Ops I, but after what I saw here, it left me impressed, so I might give it a go. All in all, it's a good game, with a good storyline and weapons to choose from. Obviously everyone buys Call of Duty to play it's multiplayer component, but I asure you, playing the campaign is no waste of time. Give it a bash.

As far as multiplayer goes, it has more perks and definetely game modes, although there are some that nobody plays. The loadout system is much better compared to Modern Warfare 2's and it is ultimately more fun.

The PC port is exceptional. It's extemely well optimized and it'll run great for you. I got it running on a GT630 on 1920x1080 and got 60fps and most times. There were some random drops at times, but they weren't frequent. If you got performance problems try lowering down Shadows and Depth of Field. They tanked a lot of FPS from my experience. If you are really struggling to get 60fps, you can always tune down the resolution, but keep in mind that you have to set it to a resolution equal to your monitor's native aspect ratio (16:9,16:10,4:3,5:4,etc.)

At launch the game had many bugs and me and my friends had a hard time playing due to server problems. My friends had bugs like clicking a monster to attack it, instead they start walking towards it. Stuff like that put us off a lot. A couple of months later this game is a blast. We had so much fun without all these bugs. It was amazing to just play all afternoon, build a nice big base, have stored enough food and materials to survive the winter, just so a giant can come, destroy out base and kill us. Twice. On two worlds. Even then it was fun and enjoyable. I recommend this game to and survival game fan as this is one pretty hardcore survival and rogue-like game. If you have 2-3 friends to play with, I suggest playing with them instead of joining a random server, but it's up to you. Can't wait for the game to get out of beta, even though it kinda feels like a complete game as of now.

Don't listen to all the negative reviews of this game. The game is amazing, well-worth the money and there is a huge update in development right now, and you can play the beta of that update. The game is addicting as hell and you'll have a blast even if you play alone.

The people who made this game owe me a new 360 controller and an "Anger Management" book.
