"Real Noise" only consists of the US Noise scene and the late 90's Japanoise scene. What is known by "Death Industrial" is nothing but Industrial with questionable real noise influence. When people try to argue that bands like Prurient are not real noise, while saying that Genocide Organ is, I can't help not to cringe because they are just as fake noise as Prurient (plus the pretentiousness). Real noise sounds ENERGETIC, POWERFUL and somewhat HATEFUL. Fake noise is weak, self pity and a failed attempt to direct energy and emotion into music. Some examples of REAL NOISE are Merzbow, The Gerogerigegege, Ramleh (the only real noise band from the death industrial scene) and Incapacitants. Some examples of FAKE NOISE are Uboa, Prurient and Genocide Organ NOISE BELONGS TO EXPERIMENTAL NOT TO PUNK, INDUSTRIAL, POST-INDUSTRIAL OR ANY OTHER MAINSTREAM GENRE
