It's honestly surreal actually playing this game. It genuinely feels like Hollow Knight, but if they had about 1000% more time. The story is better, the gameplay is better, the soundtrack is even better somehow! Truly the game of the year, what an insane feat.

This is a fantastic game. Short, fast paced, and intense. When a game hits Overwhelmingly Positive without a main "hook" or gimmick, you know it's good. The story is sparse, but well written, and the music is amazing.

Early Access Review
Palworld takes clear inspiration from a lot of its predecessors. Pokemon, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and even Elden Ring. But it combines some of these ideas, and some unique ideas, into a very fun game... and I haven't even gotten to the guns.
