Not a very good game.

99% of the game is just walking around environments that feel very same-y after the first hour with repetitive and predictable jump scares.

The QTEs feel particularly punishing (yet clunky) compared to Until Dawn and The Quarry.

The story is a cool concept, but the payoff is underwhelming as well and isn't as interesting as it could have been.

Very fun gameplay loop, but a little lacking on content at the moment. The game is in early access, so that can (and likely) will be improved on in the future. I played 19 hours and enjoyed them all, but I am definitely waiting for more content to be released to continue playing.

Pros:
-The NHL 94 inspired game play is very fun.
-Superstars are all unique and encourage different play styles.
-Art style is fantastic.
-Runs very well on the Steam Deck.

Cons:
-Roguelite elements are lacking. The teams you face during runs change only slightly, so each run starts to feel rather samey after a while. Unlocking and using different superstars and abilities helps a bit, but there’s still only three bosses and a handful of teams.
-Player switching is a nightmare.

Its just as fun as the first time! The game is a lot prettier and seems to run better. Really enjoying exploring Skyrim again. Can't beat the price for the free upgrade either.

Mods are free again, all is well for now. Mod away! No one should have to pay money to crash their game.

Uplay sucks. We get it. Its annoying signing into Uplay but I haven't had any issues signing in or saving or anything. I've had no performance loss at all, running the game on high and I'm very satisfied so far. As for the game itself, its fun, got an interesting story, and has tons to do. After about 16 hours I'm still not even done with Act II. There are tons of side missions, collectables, and things to do on the side, but they don't feel like a chore to do. The game can get challenging without being frustrating, and fun without skimping on content. I'm seriously loving this game. Its got great elements from the Assassin's Creed and GTA series. Definitley recommend, don't listen to the haters. Dealing with Uplay is well worth it for this game.
