I have played Bloodline Champions when it came out, but it felt pretty uneven and unbalanced. The tragedy is, while they may have did a lot to balance the champs and eradicate bugs, they were simply too late. When it came out, LoL, HoN Dota were the main mobas and drew a lot of attention. While the idea of Bloodline champions is nice, there is little beginners playerbase imho. Games you play as a beginner are either vs ridiculously stronger opponents (e.g. having weeks or months on their profile) or...hm... no you always play vs stronger opponents. i tried it at various times, opponents were always way stronger and more experienced. I cant even blame it on the matchmaking because there is none for beginners. Simplay put, you either have already played the game, or go through a long and tedious period of learning, constantly getting owned with little success moments to motivate you. Apart from that, the champs are not all free to play. Another disadvantage considering the small hero pool.

tl;dr
if you consider getting this game, dont, you are too late. Let it rest in piece as a pioneer moba idea that came at the wrong time.
