Unfortunately, I can't in good conscience recommend this game as it is.
Performance is atrocious.
No matter what settings I ended up using, it would never hit above 50 FPS.
10700K + 3080 + 32GB Ram + NVME SSD - That should really be possible.
So for now I've refunded and am going to wait and see if patches end up fixing this.

As it stands, it's not worth a buy.

Would've probably given this game a slight recommend if it didn't refuse to launch just as I'm nearing the end after 48 hours of play. 2K launcher just refuses to launch the game. Uninstalled, reinstalled, verified integrity, uninstalled and reinstalled the VC redist - Nothing seems to work. Due to that, I can't recommend this game.

Aside from the above, the game as a whole is - serviceable. Nothing more, nothing less. Story has a few good moments but is usually your classic revenge story, tropes and all. Graphics are fine, but desperately needs ReShade to balance out the colors. Gameplay is ok, but terribly repetitive - The mission variety is almost non-existent and usually boils down to kill everyone at a given location.

It's unfortunate, as this game could've been good with a few more months, but the middling gameplay along with infuriating technical issues lands Mafia 3 in the "Not recommended" pile.
