A cool take on indie metroidvanias. The walljump-only movement style is strange at first, but fluid and fun as you get used to it. The movement restrictions make otherwise very simple enemy patterns a fun challenge to deal with.

Great sound design and music, too. Very atmospheric.

Not without flaws, however. The map isn't very useful because the camera regularly rotates when entering rooms. Also an aiming line for your attack would be a godsend (you have one for jumping, why not shooting?)

Overall an ejoyable game. Not the greatest of all time, but definitely solid.

Atelier is the comfiest JRPG series you will ever play. Generally low-stakes and very relaxing.

The PC port is pretty barebones, but it runs well.

It kinda sneaks up on you. First you're just piddling around the galaxy, exploring systems and colonizing planets. Then you start running into other empires, but it's still not overwhelming. Eventually you're making trade deals, negotiating border access, earning warscore and wait a sec, am I playing a Grand Strategy game now?

I've never really been a big strategy game fan. RTS was never my thing, and Grand Strategy seemed way too intimidating to get into. However, spacehips are rad, so I figured I'd give the game a shot. I never expected the game to get its hooks in me like it has.

I have heard that it lacks some complexity of more mature Paradox titles, but if you're looking to dip your toes in the genre you probably won't find a better opportunity.

WayForward's best work is when they're working with their own IPs, and the Mighty games certainly show it.

Mighty Switch Force is a solid (if short) time attack platformer that is well worth the price of admission.

A decent port of a fantastic game. Not particularly well-balanced, and the plot is really anime (whether that's a good or a bad thing is up to you), but one of the most unique and fun takes on the Strategy/RPG genre.

A few notes about the port:
* Resolution options poll from your monitor, same with FPS limit (caps at refresh rate).
* Cutscenes are (unfortunately) pre-rendered, as they were on the PS3. As such they're a bit jittery.
* Dual audio is in, but the subtitle track is the same as the PS3 version -- It's a dubtitle track. Again, up to you how big of a deal that is.
* No graphics quality options. Considering the game was developed with a custom engine for a single platform, that isn't a huge surprise, but worth noting.
* FPS-wise, it runs like a dream. Haven't seen it dip below 60 ingame once.

While it's not quite the gold standard of port features, it works and works well.

The game's real fun, comes with all of the DLC for free (which adds quite a bit of content!), and if you missed it in its original run you owe it to yourself to give it a shot.

Manage your time, manage your responsibilites, and be the best damn burger flipper slash FIVE STAR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GORDON RAMSEY you can be! Memorize how to maximize the efficiency of your recipes and other restaurant owning responsibilities to make the most out of every single day. Solid, tough-as-nails platformer. Doesn't deviate much from the format, but executes on it extremely well.

Also has a fantastic soundtrack.

Rather than a puzzle paltformer it's a platforming puzzle game. Imagine a game like Mr. Driller, only much more frantic.

It really melds puzzle games and platformers together exceptionally well, and has a great soundtrack to boot.

Despite looking like it jumped right out of deviantArt, just about everything about the game oozes polish. What you're getting here is basically a dangerously furry Muramasa/Metroid/2D Devil May Cry, and it's fantastic.

After so many delays and content cuts I was expecting this game to suck.

It didn't.
