For me it was a fresh new look at Card Battlers considering it has combos in it =)
The game is about "people" trying to battle a Dragon! I mean, story wise it's always the opposite right? =) This time however you are the one defending your realm against humans.
The gameplay is actually quite well thought trough. The combos will take some to learn but other than that. I really liked it =)

Go and fetch it and save your realm =)

Thumbs Up!

All Chars + The Chicken

First things first: I'm sorry to say it at the beginning but please note that this game -for me at least - is still in its early stages and has great potential to be a great Bullet Hell!

As of the game: Achilles: Survivor is the second installment from Dark Point Games made after Achilles: Legends Untold. We are talking here about a Bullet Hell with wonderful graphics... Sadly also -still- leading to performance issues.
-side note: All issues have been addressed to the devs and they are eager to resolve any issue ASAP!
So, there are 11 characters which you can choose from...

Which open after you complete some achievements. The sad part is that all chars are all ranged attackers. There sadly are no melee champions. And if you look it that way there almost is no difference in the playstyle. Plus, you can sadly not use your mouse for your shots, and they shoot "mostly random" except when the shot is automatically pointing the enemy...
Yes, there are bugs, yes there are performance issues, but I think that it has great potential and that's why I'm giving it a maybe thumb!

First 20 Minutes Gameplay Here

Soooo, here we have a simulator, kinda game, kinda something... I mean. I had to get it off my chest sometime, right? =)
On the first part, there is a ramp and you "try" to drift downhill with some different car and with each car the "difficulty" changes.
On the other hand you've got the same scenario where you use the same cars but this time for present delivery!
The "game" could get somewhere if there would be an online score or something but I mean, it's a drift simulator where you have to deliver the Christmas presents but each time you step out of the car your drift points vanish.
Dunno, it's a cheap game so I'll leave it to you.
A Meh Thumb from me.

One of the reasons I like "Indie" games is the always different kind of games and Ideas the devs come up to. And this game is hilarious!
You are Albert Wilde, a cat PI in the 50's!
The voice acting is great and the slap stick jokes will keep you reading just to see what kind of joke you'll have this time!
A definit must play game and a great start for 2025!
Thumbs up!

Wow, A game I'm truly looking forward for the full release!

A great Bullet-Hell with great graphics and the Norse Mythology! (00:00)

Public demo made available on 14th October.
Revenant Gameplay: 02:13
Berserker Gameplay: 06:10
Seeress Gameplay: 12:06

Right now I'm showing all 3 open chars with the final boss battle at the end.

Not much to say about the gameplay actually since they all are almost identical, but:
For now you can choose 3 characters (the others are closed due Beta)
Skins and weapons (00:25)
Gameplay consists of completing missions in a certain time so you can summon the stage boss.
You can earn in game xp with which you can enhance you character. (11:08)
You can gain gold during and after successfully completing a stage which you can spend on attributes.
The attributes page is in the main menu page (00:59)
You start with easy mode and enhance when you complete a stage on a certain difficulty where you can also choose modifiers which also will open upon completing the previous one! (01:58)

First 20 Minutes Gameplay Here

Okkk, Sooo... I played some minutes and can say I'm still not sure if I liked it didn't... It definitly has great potentiel. On the other hand the gameplay leaves some question marks.
It has definitely a great story. That I say, on the other the gameplay is a bit clunky which leaves you - especially - in the early stages - very open to hits.
I think that It's in the very early stages and the issues can be fixed.

For now, I'm going with maybe... (but honestly definitely not for this price)

A really nice game for a decent price! And Yes! I really liked it!
It is a basic Bullet-Hell game.
There really is not much to say about it. You go on from level to level, on each level and you can upgrade your character.
Don't worry about the difficulty settings. After you play the first walkthrough the game difficulty increases which is mentioned as " You beat the easy mode. Congratulations! However, this time... They won't hold back " =)
The first walkthrough will take you about 30 minutes (as you can see in the video)

Have Fun!

First 20 Minutes Gameplay Here

First things First: Don't forget to change the combat speed in the options menu if you think the combat could be faster!

Here we have a game which I played, left aside, played again, tried again and again and again etc. I just couldn't get into it and I really don't know why. I mean the story is great, the graphics are decent, the combat... well the combat system was a "thing" I funnily enough had to get used to it... I meant it's not that hard, it was just... There's something I can't put my finger on...

So as of the game, the first 20 something minutes were really boring for me. The game pushes a lot of information into these minutes, and you start to get used to them after some play time - and- Well it's a card battler, each character has it's own set and you can upgrade your cards plus, there is the synergy thingy.

I mean, I can't say it's a bad game. It's just that it's definitely not something I would play.
And since there is no maybe button I'm gonna go again with Thumbs up!

Try it out for yourself and get your own opinion :D

I have this game lying around for such a long time because I still don't know if I like it or not, or even maybe I don't understand the mechanics of the game.
It's actually quite easy to understand but I just couldn't get into the game...
So basically, you play cat and mouse on a chess board with your enemies where the hit rate of your attacks is depending on the dice which roll each time where you also will get boost cards...

You are seeing the enemies next moves and can move accordingly but as said. It just might be that I couldn't get the hang around it.
And since there's nor maybe button, I'm gonna go with thumps up for the people who might like it.

For anyone who still didn't play the game in the year 2025. Here's a small re-cap before you start!

First things first: The pace in the game is actually quite well considering it's yes, as you heard from anywhere or anyone. An "amazon delivery service" game. You can even take a photo of the package you deliver. Just like in real life!
Something in between. I'm not gonna talk about the graphics since there's not much to say about them except, they're epic!
Anyway, the pace of the game... Just as soon as you start to get bored delivering your cargo while avoiding BT's, the game drops a story bomb in between and you continue to play some more. And again yes. This game is actually quite heavy story based. But the last 2-3hrs of the game are not a "game" but a cinematic adventure of the story unfolding what what is. And F%**k it get's boring! I mean you literally want to skip the scenes but can't or else you'll not understand the Death Stranding! It goes back and forth and shows - I think at least 3 times - the full dev cast! Un-skippable! Which really is boring! and the game just doesn't end. I mean the last 3 hrs I think were always like: "Yes, finally I think this is the end..." no! Something else comes in between. Another end... boss fight, you think it's over, no! Here's another 20 minutes cinematic...
I mean it is a great game but the final part's were just frustrating!

Don't get me wrong, I will play the ♥♥♥♥ out of the game and am looking forward to part 2 but just note that considering the first game. I think there will be more cinematic cut scenes in the secons installment!
