!!! This is my first halo game so take my opinion with a grain of salt !!!

1. PvP : I didn't play previous games but to me it feels like a WWE simulator combined with a bullet hell where the bullets are grenades. I mean, 90% of the interaction between players is the same, you run towards the enemy while shooting to get in range for a melee attack. Since melee hit is a 2 tap kill, if you have a basic aim, it comes down to who presses the punch button the faster when in range. Other thing is, a lot of maps are small which causes a litteral bullet hell of grenades when you spawn (since the first reflex of a lot of players is to throw grenades). Don't get me wrong, it's ok to throw grenades, it's part of the game, but when you give 2 grenades when spawning, there is literally 16 grenades being thrown in the first 5 seconds of the match.

2. PvP Game modes : Some of them you like, some of them you hate. Overall, it's pretty fun except for the fact that you cannot choose which mode you want and which one you don't want... That is really stupid....

3. Progression system: Just check the other comments, I don't need to repeat the same thing as everyone...

4. Customisation: Since I never played the other games, I cannot compare, but to me, it looks very basic. Colors, Body types, Camos for vehicle are pretty nice, but you may need to pour a lot of money to get what you want...

Overall I won't recommend this game to anyone except Halo fans. If, like me you didn't play the other games, don't bother with this one either.

There is nothing more to say than... silver-haired demon girls. That is all you need.
