I would recommend to get this game on full price only if you are a hardcore fan of Adventure of Dai, the game is the 2020 anime, so If you have already finished the anime, it will be as watching it again.

It would be great if the game had some exploration, equipment buying or some other features than fighting, the Memory and Spell system upgrades feel like they where taken from a gatcha, obtian hundreds of the same item, hundreds of forging materials and thousands of money.

The temple of recollection is a good rouge-like challenge but it can become repetitive, in-game visuals are incredible but somehow the game feels incomplete, just like the 90's anime, the 2020 adaptation of it may have ended the story, but the game does not portrait the full story, hopefully some DLC will complete it, but honestly I doubt it.

The combat system is somewhat simple but entertaining I had a good time figuring out bosses paterns and switching between spells and abilites to learn better strategies, overall it is a decent game, but as I said in the beginning of all of this, wait until a sale to play this.
