Decent premise but impossible to recommend a game in this state, each time you load a game you're stuck and have to change the settings to free yourself. Multiple other bugs as well like voice lines that overlap or repeat, the game forgetting to save, crashed to desktop etc. The atmosphere is good, visuals and decor are great, the story is rather simple, and the dialogue/voice acting is among the worst I've heard in a game and lacked proper direction.

Despite it many bugs (like every other Bethesda game), it's still a very enjoyable Fallout game and only gets better each update.

Gave this game a try after reading a review on Polygon on how this game was superior to its rival of the year : "Call of Duty Modern Warfare". There isn't much good to say about this game besides that the missions overall are original and the campaign isn't that long or too repetitive. It also features a nice start to the missions where you drop in and can decide where you land. However the shooting is terrible, even for a 2007 game. Your weapon sometimes disappears, your hand sometimes goes invisible, enemies or obstacles teleport from time to time to another place and it's nearly impossible to hit someone that is running. I assume this last one has to do with badly designed hitboxes. The worst thing about the game is that you can sometimes just get stuck while walking, ascending a staircase and suddenly you can't move anymore. I can't remember any fps with so many bugs in it and I would not recommend anyone giving this a try in 2020.

Virginia is not quite a game and not quite an interactive movie either. It's pretty much a story playing in front of your eyes which requires minimal amounts of interaction from the user. The story is interesting till somewhere near the middle where you can tell the writers lack of structure did not help them. Apparently some people do experience motion sickness during this but I did not have any trouble with that. Overall I'd recommend it for a one time try since you can finish it in less than 2 hours easily. The cuts are a nice gimmick but they don't allow the user to finish reading certain documents that are pretty important if you don't want to get entirely confused near the ending.

Very solid prequel to Wolfenstein : The New Order. Not too long with a singleplayer campaign of 5-6 hours, which is pretty much ideal here. The levels never get boring and give the player a mix of stealth and action.

Shadow of Mordor is a mix of Assassin's Creed and the Arkham games but mixes them in a way that doesn't quite work for me personally. The player is punished for dying, failure makes the game harder to the point where if you die plenty of times the game becomes more and more impossible. It also has extremely repetitive gameplay, the camera is sometimes in impossible angles during fights and the story is quite uninspired and boring.

Fairly short game but in the case of Force Unleashed II this might not be a bad thing. Very repetitive combat, frame rate issues (you'll want the 60 fps patch) and boring boss fights make this a game that the non (die hard) Star Wars fan should skip.

This was my first experience with Baldur's Gate, having never played the original. The game has an extremely high learning curve at first and some of the game's hardest moments will be experienced within the first few hours of playing when you're under powered and even a wolf or two could possibly kill your whole party. Once you get over this and into the story you find a great game with some flaws (terrible pathfinding being the worst of them). Definitely a great experience but it is a true timesink like a lot of RPG's. Completing the whole game and all of the expansion set missions (Tales of the Sword Coast which is included in EE) took me a little bit less than 80 hours. I would also recommend to understand/google the rules of how armor and damage works in this game before spending too much time in it.

"Walking simulator" with an interesting atmosphere, and a somewhat interesting story told throughout diary entries. The strength in this game lies mostly in discovering the house and making sure you keep all doors open and all lights on.

Rise of Tomb Raider is a step up from the previous installment. Lots of exploring, interesting puzzles, and an interesting story make this a great game. It can however get somewhat repetitive after 10+ hours and there were a bit too many gunfights near the end of the game.
