I missed it when it came out, but this is a cool, good looking and interesting short game

After 25 hours in, I still haven't finished it. This is a really good game in many ways. The graphic style is quite unique, with great attention to detail and environmental storytelling. The gameplay loop may be a little repetitive to some, but for me, it felt just right. It adds new challenges and complexity as the story develops, just when I started to feel a tiny bit bored. It's hard to define what genre this game is, but I like to compare it to Death Stranding in the sense that it has a lot of cargo management, tool progression, dealing with terrain and the elements, and the solitary feeling of being alone. It also mixes a bit of horror, a lot of mystery, sci-fi elements, and dread, but at the same time, it can be a soothing and relaxing experience. Being alone in your car, fixing it, and just driving along a beautiful scenery is very calming.

This is one of the best gaming experiences I've had this year so far.

tl:dr: yes, buy it

So this game is really worth it now! It has a good amount of content and the replayability is high if you are into this kind of games. Yes, it's a bit slow and has a lot of room for AI improvements and balancing issues, but it's good and tons of fun with other people. If you played SWAT 4 back in the day, this is pretty much the unofficial next installment with some great mechanics and the maps have a deep level of immersion, realism and variety that few other games offer.

2hr "campaign" that 60% is just a chunk of warzone with bots, really bad story and storytelling. Multiplayer: just a couple of old mw2 maps with updated graphics. No new maps. 5 or 6 new weapons and the rest is just the new mw2 guns. It's just a DLC. Do not buy

Bought it, started the tutorial, cringed with the dialogs, refunded it.

Guess I'm not the only one here that bought a VR headset because of this piece of art. Totally, absolutly worth it! If you are not sure about getting into VR, this experience will show you what it's possible.

Totally recommend it.

Early Access Review
A really great tactical game with some interesting mechanics and constant updates. Hope they can work more on the random map generator to boost replayability :D

It's been a long time since I experienced a game as relevant, interesting, refreshing and new as Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding. This is a AAA budget game mixed with unchained creativity, eluding common cliches and other tropes.

This is not a game for everybody. You will find yourself arranging and rearranging equipment and managing your inventory for a good portion of your playthrough. You will sit through complex dialogue and long exposition dumps in the form of cutscenes. You will be walking, climbing, running and rappeling your way from point A to point B, and you will be doing it a lot. And you will fail. But, for me, this is what made the game so great and unique.

On the gameplay level, this is a slow paced walking/delivery simulator that takes you through harsh terrain while carrying cargo. You have to find the best possible ways to make your way. And yes, there are enemies, and yes you can shoot them and they can shoot you back, but that's just a secondary gameplay mechanic.

There is no multiplayer / singleplayer division, but I'm not gonna spoil that amazingly interesting side of the game. Just let me tell you that you won't find someone else on the game, but you will never feel alone.

You can experience similar moods on some David Lynch works.
