I wanted to give the game another shot...

Tried the career mode with mouse settings in a bf-109, since i couldn't bothered to plug in my stick and set it up.
Got to play a mission with some amazing gameplay like flying next to bombers for 1,5 hours.
After that i got to play an exciting hunt mission, where i took out 2 hurricans in a boom and zoom only to get outclimbed by the last one and have the kill stolen by my ai companions.

I don't get what's supposed to be so realistic about the flightmodel to be honest.
Gliding for example is a pain since there seems to be a drastic lack of energy retention, balanced out by an over reliance on engine power to keep you in the air. Landing in this game is the hardest in any flight game I've played, because of that.

The mouse controls feel like the worst casual controls trenched in an indescribable amount of soapiness.

Although i'd love to see some good flight-sim competition especially for pve, but this game doesn't hold a candle to the Sim mode in Warthunder, as much as it pains me to say.

It's really good and the coop game that is perfectly filling the gap left over the years.

The equipment is well balanced, the enemies and objectives are quite diverse and thus creates good opportunity for emergent Gameplay and tactics.
The difficulties are sometimes a bit inconsistent, as the need different approaches or might vary on difficulty highly depending on the location and the faction you fight, but the wide range makes it easy to adjust to kind of battles you wanna fight or what type of strategy and Gameplay you seek.

Overall i love the skill-based approach to combat and the viability of most equipment and being awarded quite well for taking the time to explore and navigate the levels as you play.

The progression, from what i've experienced, can be a bit hard in the beginning, but is quite engaging and due to the way its balanced opens up the player to new approaches to combat and grants more versatility rather than to just be better number wise.
It could need better balancing between the resources you gather and use for upgrades and i believe the game would need more weapons and other tools to keep up with the excitement of the community.

The in-game monetization of the game might be a little irritating out of principal, but it's been balanced well with good access to its in-game currency so that i i.e. was able to unlock the "premium pass" relatively organically by playing regularly, without feeling pressured to spend more money than buying the game.

The marketing and atmosphere work perfectly to create the meme-firestorm that drove the community to rally behind the community-wide objectives of the game.

There are some bugs and some issues that need- and probably will be addressed soon, that might lead to some frustrating situations, but are not necessarily game-breaking.

The performance was so far good with a well spec'ed PC, but there have been a few crashes which can be at times really frustrating when losing progress or lead to failures of missions to no fault of oneself.

The need to connect to PSN is quite annoying and can lead to connection issues.
Servers have been improved, but issues might still arise.

I'd love to see the potential more explored though, as the community so far has only the potential to grind a away at a numbers game, but since the game has just launched, there will probably more stuff coming soon as the game adds more interesting events for the players to deal with.

There is definitely a lot of fun to be had, especially with friends to coordinate with.

Its pretty early to say, since its fairly early in its development, but the devs are passionate and open for criticism, since its their first game.

The game lack a lot of QoL and a lot of the mechanics are still under work, but it has a good potential to be neat spin on the 4x formula with a heavier focus on trade and economy.

I'll follow the state of the game and am excited to see the stages of the roadmap come to fruition.

Its a challenging and grindy game with a lot of potential for route optimization.

The visual effects are good for the mechanics fairly satisfying, but gameplaywise Creeper World 3 does better with usability, because the 2D perspective is easier to control and navigate in direct comparison.

If you like the Creeper World series it's definitely still worth playing.

Very weak remaster.
The simplified controls for the second game got added here in the first game.
Neat idea for consistency, but makes no sense in terms of Gameplay and story.
The capabilities feel neutered too.

For Veterans:
Speed only activates when sprinting, else you are stuck with slow walkspeeds.
Strength is the new default, but doesn't work. The recoil is the same as another mode.
Armor is the same only that you need to activate it and it drains energy overtime.

Multiplayer:
Crysis had a very interesting persistent multiplayer that could last hours with a in-match leveling system and the endgoal to take out the enemy base. I liked it a lot back then.
The remaster missed out by not using the opportunity to give us a user-hosted system, but instead has no multiplayer at all.
For context: The old multiplayer is no longer available due to Gamespy no longer hosting the servers.

I've hoped for a better experience and the changes to the game clearly did not get playtested right side by side.

Good Game.
Well designed gamemechanics.
Great momentum and satisfying progression.
Amazing visual-artstyle and charming vibe.
Fairly easy with big difficulty spikes when running out of the right resources.
Enemies are quite unique and need their own approach each.
There can be some frustration with AI-behaviour and rng-based outcomes tough.
Overall worth it.

So far a worthwhile investment. Great classic game-formular with a few new spins.

And i hope TaleWorlds will see how much they'll benefit from the Early-Access-model to help the development of their game.
So far there have already been a lot of new additions patched in in the matter of weeks and I'm excited to watch the development, of this masterpiece in the making will bring, from the sidelines. :D
