Scratches that Diablo 2/3/4 scratch, still regularly updated. What's not to like?

Despite the fact that I'm horrible at these kind of games, this one is fantastic.
Smooth gameplay with a surprisingly deep story, lovely graphics and art, and a killer soundtrack to boot!

Great visual styles, a mix of Diablo and Slay the Spire gameplay-wise!

Beautifully detailed scenery and environment, as is pretty much expected from an AC game.
Story isn't too bad (and although the whole "out-of-Animus" story lost me somewhere along Brotherhood or thereabouts), the characters have a personal feel to them here. Side missions gets tedious very quickly. The skill point system is mostly a good thing, except that I felt it took too long to get enough points for everything you wanted to try (and this is with ~40 hours of game time), especially with the boring side quests. The micro-transactions are slightly nagging and as always just a general annoyance. Lay it off, Ubisoft!

Also, f**k that Shadya questline :(
