The sense of progression is super weird. You will unexpectedly hit walls in combat difficulty and story progression and be left aimless. The request box which gives you a series of quests and is meant to be a sort of guide or tutorial is pretty bad, crucial farming tips such as the magnifying glass, crop levels, soil quality etc is tied to story progression rather than the progress of your farm.

In the later half and for much of the endgame/postgame your progress will be hindered by horrendous RNG grind. If most of the playerbase has to justify using a glitch to farm a boss more than once a day or use save scumming to craft then something is fundamentally wrong.

But the game isn't all about combat, you can look forward to getting married. You just need to wait for RNGesus to bless you with the relevant town events because it's completely random instead of being tied to your relationship level with said NPC.

Having to constantly workaround these artificial time wastes can become tedious and frustrating, and my advice is to just drop the game at that point. Your tolerance may vary but in the end I feel this game did not respect my time.
