It's not perfect but I found Veilguard to be a very enjoyable experience none the less.
Maybe someday I'll come back and fully write out what I did and didn't like about it. But for now I will say it was definitely worth my time and I really do hope that Bioware gets another chance to make a game in the Dragon Age universe without such a turbulent development cycle.

Also the writer, Sylvia Feketekuty, is brilliant. Josephine from Inquisition and Emmrich from this game will forever live rent free in my head.

It's golf you can play with your degenerate friends or alone. Either way I suck at it. But it's still hella fun. Also the screw your friends over by turning them into weird shapes mechanic is *chef's kiss* real good.

Honestly I believe this is one of my favourite games ever. I played The Cat Lady through one day after calling off sick from work because I had a mixture of actual sickness and some rather dark thoughts. The same day it'd been on sale and it seemed interesting, like something to take my mind off of my own sad feelings, and it did more than that. Not spoiling anything, but the game is truly a masterpiece in regards to the representation of depression in it and just all the emotions. Between the characters and story I just had all the feels. I ended up playing through the whole game in about eight hours without breaks because it captivated m so much. By the end everything the game was saying sunk in, and I can honestly say that it really helped me on that day.

I really can't praise this game more. I highly suggest this if any of the subject matters affected you, or are affecting you, or if you simply enjoy a darker tale. If you enjoy some rather morbid humor this'll be right up your alley as well. Besides that, just look at the wonderful gritty and grungy art, not to mention the good voice acting and music. If that doesn't convince you then nothing will.

The Fall is a rather short game, but for me it hit all the right marks. The controls did take a second to get used to, but upon doing so it was nothing overly strange that I hadn't seen before. As for the story, I can say that it didn't disappoint me like other games have when it comes to the trailar versus what's actually presented in the game. The few characters you interact with and the character of Arid are all well represented in both their dialogue, actions, and the accompanied voice acting. I can not count the amount of Samantha Traynor moments I had when hearing Arid's voice. (I'll admit it, I have a thing for Female Robots/AI.)

Overall, despite the shortness, I really enjoyed this game and the story it presented. I'd sugget picking up this title on sale for sure if you enjoy scifi in general really. From what I understand there is a second part in the making and I will be very much looking forward to this, espically with the questions the ending leaves us with.
