This game is great for its time. The necromorphs, the story and the gameplay is good. The vent system is decent. This is a great game; however, I believe it is also slightly overrated. First of all, the level designs felt so repetitive. Every room was so similar to each other, and I felt like I was doing the same things over and over again. Secondly, it is almost impossible to play this game with mouse and keyboard. Don’t buy it unless you have an xbox controller (it is an agony to play fps games with a controller, so be careful). Finally, game has several bugs if you want to play in 144hz with vsync off. Some scripted actions do not occur. It is weird af and I had to start the game four times in a row at the beginning, just to find a solution to a scripted event that is not happening. This game is more of a horror-action game, since you always get more ammo from corpses and keep shooting more and more enemies.. This is actually not a con, just not my preferred style.
Overall, I would have recommended it if it didn’t have so many bugs on pc port. But in this state, just skip it. You won’t miss much.
