Despite of being not as captivating neither narative as original Subnautica, it is deffenetely worth a single playthrough.
More than just a solid game in visuals and exploration.

Wish to see Torchlight 2 worth a challenge with Diablo 3, 'cause this exact game is awesome!

Strongly underestimated game (by big yellow metacritic 66 happened on store page), which is must be ignored to find:

Fantasy world filled with lots of side quests, guild tasks and 70% places with no chance to visit during the main story. So it has something to explore, like, for sure!
Pretty unique inderectly controlled battles, based on behavior commands and mostly on who you have assigned together as a union.
Variative "team building" pushing you to find more (interesting, well suiting in team or just charming) characters and choose favorite to form unions at your command. And from that moment they are taking the union formations you find and set, follow leaders you pick, and evolving in the way you prioritize.
Massive amount of characters, simply hiding behind side quests or a chain of events in classical jrpg style (makes feeling familiar with Suikoden back in the days).
Antagonists script filled with meaning, intrigues and colorful scenes for you to encounter and discover.

Must tell you the Cons, though...:

Game is hiding a little bit to much. It is nice to discover something new on the Third playthrough, but it wasn't be criminal if developers discribe game mechanics deeper, so developing Combat or Mystic Arts do not feel that random on First playthrough.
Main storyline... it exist, but it's bellow average for too many reasons. Many scenes feels typical with several character poor acting or looking outside their role.
