Yo.
Darkness beyond twilight...
Crimson beyond blood that flows...
Buried in the stream of time is where your power grows...
I pledge myself to conquer all the foes who stand...
before the mighty gift bestowed in my unworthy hand...
Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed...
by the power you and I possess...

The Wither 3 Wild Hunt Review

The witcher adventure was once born in literature and has now been perfected in video game world.

Let me start you off with saying that once you start the game up, you will not be able to stop playing it.
This being one of the best open world, story based video game that I have ever played and that's going back to the times of Gothic 1,2 and 3. The last game of the witcher game trilogy (Wild Hunt) has been vastly improved from their older games, with both mechanics and graphics.

Visuals
The map itself is absolutely huge and packed with interesting sites, towns and forests to explore. Attention to great detail has been taken when working on the graphics and map visuals as there is everything from compact forests to vast open field spaces to gallop through.

Storyline
The story itself is long but interesting, full of surprises, twists and turns. With not just one, but several possible endings to the game. It only depends on the player which ending they get and what path the choose to follow.
What is even better, there are two major DLC's for the game:
  • Hearts of Stone
  • Blood and Wine
Hearts of Stone has a little of a darker story through and through, whereas the Blood and Wine is more light hearted but not throughout the whole of the story either, what only makes it more interesting.

PROS
  • Huge, coherent and immersive game world
  • Game systems and storyline both engage
  • Beautifully rendered characters and scenery
  • Absolutely crammed with interesting quests, side-quests and activities
  • Geralt a more mature and sympathetic lead
  • Ciri
  • Engaging fights and battles as well as the whole combat system
CONS
  • Long loading time
  • Occassional framerate drop
  • Roach

To Conclude - If you want a brilliant game for the dark and cold winter days, this is the game to go for.
Worth every last penny.
