Not really worth it unless you can get a huge discount (normal discount + finish DX franchise collection).

Most of the stuff in this season pass makes the gameplay very unbalanced (praxis kits, weapons, credits, etc.). If you are like me: Checking most or all rooms for stuff, then you really have an advantage and a good experience non the less.

What is really worthwhile are both the story DLC's: System Rift and A Criminal Past. The last one of the two is less linear and more complex (resembles the DX phrase: Choice/Consequence) more compared to the first one. I would say System Rift is more something that should have been in the main game in some way like Desperate Measures and for the people that already have played Human Revolution and love Pritchard.

If the two DLC's get a good discount separately, then I would recommend A Criminal Past first.

With all the discounts recently, it's worth the play if you haven't already. For details look at other reviews.

If you need to safe money or you just haven't already, play the prequel Human Revolution. It's a solid title. Mankind Divided does a few things better (sidequests, atmosphere, graphics, ...), but also a few things worse (lacking length of story / city hubs, Breach which is now separate F2P with microtransactions) compared to HR.

Lastly the music is again incredible art, composed by M. McCann.

For the DLC: A Criminal Past > System Rift > Desperate Measures.

(I have removed my original review, because it was way too long and more a ramble about the launch and Square Enix ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥).

I have done my first playthrough by now and I have to say I haven't seen everything yet. The story/characters/atmosphere is/are great, I've spend around 7 hours on this, but compared to the first DLC, this one really brings a lot of replayability, because of the choices you make and that makes the whole story very complex and not quite lineair.

In comparison I have spent less time on the first DLC, but have already seen everything. This is quite a golden piece.

The devs really did their best job (apart from AI getting stuck here and there). They really make you think what conversation option you choose instead of holding your hand in some way and making it a little obvious what decision to take.

I'll probably update this when I have done multiple playthroughs. I'm impressed.

Director's Cut is a big improvement on the original Deus Ex Human Revolution: better boss fights, developer commentary, the missing link dlc included, etc.
I've played mostly the original version, so not the Director's Cut (that's why only 6 hours).

- Perfect conspiracy storyline
- Very satisfying gameplay
- 3 ways to play: guns blazing, stealth assassin (lethal or non-lethal) or pacifist (avoid any combat by using cloaking, etc.)
- Great visuals: graphics and art-style
- Great music soundtracks and perfect voice acting overall
- Rewards exploring within the open world city hubs and looking for alternative routes
- Very smart leveling system to get praxis points that can be used to upgrade a wide variety of augmentations
- Very satisfying hacking minigame that is also very useful against enemies and for resources
- Bunch of side quests to find and also lots of npc to interact with
- Wide variety of lethal and non-lethal weapons and gadgets for your weapons

I actually have no complains about it really.
- Or no, there is 1 thing, the game could be even much better game if the developers had more time.
Because during the developer commentary (turn it on or off in the option menu), the devs tell a lot about the stuff that was cut like sidequests, realtime translation augmentation, India city hub, etc.

But overall, no complains. It is already a fantastic game without all the stuff that was cut from the game.
And a great prequel for the original Deus Ex.
I just love the art work in this game.
10/10
Worth buying for any price sale or not.
One of the best singleplayer experiences, you'll have.
