It's a pretty fun detective game. A great choice to pick up for Halloween (or helloween?) in another 364 days from now.

Early Access Review
This game is already my new favorite deckbuilding game that I've played by a fair margin. Basically, imagine Slay The Spire except with an actual story, more decision making, less railroading, and an entire second card deck and game system that you can use for negotiations rather than combat. Honestly it's hard for me to think of much that I dislike about the game at all so here's just the pros list:

- Great art and animation
- Good music
- Unique and interesting setting
- Dynamic world that constantly responds to your decisions
- Extremely high replay value

If I were to rate this game purely based on how it plays right this moment it would get a 9/10. Which is pretty damn good IMO considering that the game's still in early access and hasn't even finished releasing all of its content yet.

In conclusion, good ♥♥♥♥, don't sleep on it.

God I love this game. It plays like some sort of strange mashup between Hitman, Hotline Miami, and Superhot. Every mission starts with you planning out the perfect elaborate heist, and then two minutes later desperately trying to fumble your way out of a shootout with five armed guards before they can sound the alarm and toss you out into the vacuum of space.

There was a point about five or so hours in where I was starting to feel like I had seen most of what the game had to offer, and once you get to that point all you really need to do to make things interesting again is to stop trying to play it safe and start taking on only the "Audacious" and "Mistake" missions or trying to go for achievements from that point on. This game is always at its best during the missions where you barely manage to make it out alive.

Few moments in gaming have ever been as satisfying to me as the time that I stumbled my way onto a gigantic warship as a dying man with less than a minute left to live, frantically dodging bullets and teleporting past room after room, trying to avenge my dead boyfriend with my final remaining moments before finally managing to put a bullet into his murderer's head with only a second left to go before my character drops to the ground dead beside them.

Anyway it's a pretty good game.

A very charming little game, makes me wonder why not every game has a dedicated dance button.

Shadowrun is among the only series I've ever played so far that lets you play as a giant troll lady and slash cops in half with your cyber claws like Wolverine. 10/10. Game of the decade.

This was probably my favorite game from MIke Bithell to date, which is no small praise considering that Thomas was Alone is still among my all time favorites even more than half a decade later.

I'm already looking forward to whatever games they happen to put out next.
