Really glad they were so confident in their servers not going offline. Good thing the servers didn't go offline at any critical point in time.

EDIT: Now that the servers are up and running again I was unfortunately able to see how barebones and poorly put together the game is. Give it about 1-2 to years and maybe it'll finally be worth your money

A really pleasant experience overall. Short but sweet. It's horror elements are minor if that's something that puts you off but still has a tense atmosphere that kept me hooked for the full time I played through it. I should mention it does have one jumpscare that nearly killed me because I absolutely wasn't expecting it.

It has a distinct visual style that makes everything look as though it was a pencil drawing which really unique and despite looking very stylized it does a good job of immersing you in the world. This is helped by a surprisingly strong soundtrack with songs that really emphasize each of the key moments in the story. It also has some pretty solid sound design which I greatly enjoyed.

I definitely recommend this one for anyone looking for a short little singleplayer experience that has a fun mix of horror, exploration and some occasional simple puzzles. The branching paths towards the end of the game weren't the best choice in my opinion as they might leave you with an ambiguous ending or lack of closure as it did in my case. That said, it was an enjoyable story overall and it didn't completely detract from the full package.

Don't be fooled by the fact that it's called a Battle Royale. The game plays out more like a deathmatch with a much higher emphasis on action and very little downtime like you see in the usual BRs.

I've played this for about 70 hours now and can confidently say that it's a great game overall, especially if you're itching for some fast paced third person action. Definitely the standout feature is the complex movements your can pull off with the vampire abilities which makes firefights always feel fresh and exciting.

Fantastic presentation overall from the cosmetics to the soundtrack and sound design. They're making good use of the VTM license and it's not just there for the sake of it.

It's a great package overall with a high skill ceiling. Don't be mislead by reviews from people who got ♥♥♥♥ on because they couldn't figure it out in the first hour of playing.

Solid game from beginning to end and surprisingly challenging too.

If you're looking for an engaging story driven game then this one is definitely worth trying. Easily 40 hours of play without even doing all the available content.

Knockout City has some of the most exciting and engaging gameplay I've experienced in years.

I've been playing this since the beta and found the gameplay loop really addictive. The concept seems really simplistic and casual but it has a high skill ceiling and matches can become really frantic and exciting. The lock-on / autoaim mechanic may make it seem like it's easy but this allows you to step up some insane curves, lobs and intercepting shots that were sent towards teammates. For the first time in forever I feel like I want to play the game for nothing other than the gameplay it offers instead of grinding towards some goal or cosmetic item.

Knockout City has some huge potential in a competitive scene and is well worth the price of admission. I strongly recommend anyone try it while it's still free.

Easily close to a 10/10 for me. Absolutely amazing
