At this point I don't think anything can be written that hasn't already been written.
It is and remains the greatest RTS ever made. This is the game that most of all managed to maximise the importance of controlling certain areas of the map for tactical matters, like hills, or for strategic, like gold or stone.
In addition the Definitive Edition was one of the best, if not the best, relaunch of any major RTS.
