SO. GOOD. SO. CHEAP.

Only played the tutorial and one match but seems like a neat action game, very reminiscent of Crimson Skies (or more recently War Thunder).

One tiny gripe - the game is billed as "massively multiplayer". MMO is a pretty nebulous term these days but Could Pirates is primarily 7 on 7. 14 players in the world simultaneously does not feel very massive. If Cloud Pirates is an MMO so is Call of Duty, and League of Legends, and literally every other online multiplayer game ever made.

The game is fun and free. It's hard to go wrong with that combination.

Left4Dead with swords, magic, loot and leveling. Looks great, plays great, doesn't cost ten million dollars.

If you're at all interested in the god game genre (Black & White, Populus, etc) hold off on buying Godus. At present, it's barely a game. The team promised monthly updates but remember this is a team headed by the industry's most creative and compulsive liar - Peter Molyneux.

The game hasn't seen an update since October and the team has been completely silent as to when the updates will resume.

Wait for the full release because, hontestly, with Molyneux's track record, there is a chance this game will never see the light of day. And if somehow it does it may only be a fraction of the original vision. Anyone looking to recapture that Black & White magic will be sorely dissapointed.
