Stalker 2 might be rough around the edges at the time I'm writing this review, but the team accomplished the impossible. Though thick and thin they still delivered a true sequel to the legendary OG Trilogy after 14 years, the atmosphere, open world, hand crafted locations and overall graphics are a true testament to the dedication and craft of the new team. Discovering Cordon, Garbage and many other original zones remastered brought a tear to my eye, welcome home Stalkers.
The gunplay feels brutal and responsive, the animations are great and exploration is greatly rewarded with unique weapons, armor and story bits. Rarely in our modern times we get a true sequel and this is one of them, after hundreds of hours in Stalker I can easily recommend this to any diehard fan, while the game has issues, especially with the A-Life 2.0 , this is just the beginning and the foundation is strong for a truly immersive and groundbreaking game, support the studio since they need our help.

Early Access Review
The Forever Winter is an early access PvE extraction shooter that has such a unique art style and world design that's literally unmatched so far. The sheer ferocity and vision of this grimdark world is a strong selling point, the atmosphere and core mechanics make it a strong foundation.
While the game is very early into development, I bought it to support the studio for the foreseeable future, these guys deserve our support and their passion really shows in the product so far. Highly recommend it despite some early jank and bugs, this game has a bright future ahead if supported and developed properly.

Early Access Review
Death Must Die is a comprehensive and well put together mash-up between Vampire Survivors, Halls of Torment and Hades. The game mixes in random item generation, shrines and variety with builds thank to a in depth item system similar to Diablo 2. In it's current state it's well worth the price of admission.

Doom is back baby! I can't believe id pulled through with this one. Solid gunplay thanks to modding capabilities of the guns, melee isn't so bad as I initialy thought, the level design is just superb, blows everything out of the water, the monsters the sounds oh god. I just can't believe it I actually lived long enough to see Doom come back and better than ever. The way the game was built feels like the natural next step of the franchise. It's built in the sense that you can do non-stop action without ever breaking combat (that's the point of the glory kills) and it feels great. Even the way doom guy interacts with certain story elements is just great, hehe. What a blast this was, I will surely go for multiple playthroughs of the game since they offer a ton of collectibles, hidden areas, upgrades, runes, modules for your suit etc. It brings a tear to my eye playing this game. But enough about what I feel, I could drag this revew for pages and pages let me break it down and tell you what Doom 2016 is going to give you
    The Good:
  1. Fast movement
  2. Solid gunplay, a large arsenal with kick-ass customization for guns
  3. Fluid animations across the board
  4. Jaw-dropping graphics. iD's engine combined with some guys from Crysis, this game really steals the show when it comes to graphics (so far)
  5. Expansive levels with plenty of exploration and space to fight in
  6. Plenty of monsters on screen at one time
  7. Collectibles, logs, expanding on the lore of the game (it's optional but nice to have it)
  8. Long campaign, includes the classic doom levels, snap-map, multiplayer. There's just a lot of Doom to be enjoyed here.
  9. A love letter to fans of the series, revitalized, bad-ass and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ metal.
  10. Awesome sound design
    The Bad:
  1. Snap-map is limited to prefabricated rooms, only 4 players can join a lobby.
  2. No modding capabilities (hopefully we will get mods in the near future)
  3. The whole DLC/Season Pass thing seems redundant (since they gave us SNAP-MAP to build our own maps), they are also segregating the online community.
  4. Not really a bad thing, but I was hoping to see some more classic monsters returned to this one (arachnotron, pain elemental etc)
  5. Multiplayer (while not developed by id) is simplified and casualised. No depth to the movement, loadouts are a no-no for me and overall it just sucks compared to the level of polish the singleplayer received(which is good)
It's the current year folks and we got a game from this legendary developer,id software. The kings are back, and they made sure we will never forget who makes the best fps games. Thanks id, for the passion that went into this, thanks for rebooting that horrible pre-Doom that was in production (before this one), thanks for living up to such a monumental amount of hype (let's not forget it's been 12 years without any Doom). This game blew all my expectations and I'm so happy just writing this review, I'm grining like a child, I haven't had fun with a singleplayer campaign like I had with this one in such a long time, I just can't wait to dive right back into it. Anyway, I better wrap this up, I can't help it, I fell in love with this game from day one, I purposely upgraded my gpu only to run Doom on ultra. That's how much I anticipated this. Hands down my personal GOTY already. There's nothing else I could ask from the industry this year, I have Doom thanks. I'll give it a 9.5/10 on the singleplayer while the base multiplayer mode gets a 7/10. A must own, a must play and probably one of the best games to come in the last 5 years easily. We got Wolfenstein rebooted, Doom, Quake when? Only time will tell.
