I've been a fan of the series since playing the first one and this one is at least as good as the first entry if not better. I think the style and setting are beautiful, the gameplay enjoyable, and the story captivating. I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a mystery filled adventure!

With the right setup, this game is a dream come true! I think the only improvement I would love to see is multiplayer support with the ability to play emulated games together.

So.... this isn't necessarily a review, but a first impression from a die hard old school survival horror fan. So far, it has been both amazing and terrifying. Hats off to Capcom for listening to the fans and delivering what I would say is the first quality Resident Evil game in years.

I have completed the game now with both endings. My opinion hasn't changed at all! Still a solid throwback to the original Resident Evils and early survival horror titles, but played with a fresh new perspective. The attention to detail here is amazing. I personally, cannot wait for another installment. Let's just hope Capcom learned their lesson and will ditch the action for survival horror like they did with this game.

Such a good game! Seriously! I tend to like games with a rich storyline and things to explore, and this game is full of both. Plus, it has all the feels.
