Another great concept for an MMO squandered by NEXON. Their greed and lack of actual passion for videos games let this game rot like garbage.

Bioshock 2 is absolutely a solid sequel, refining several mechanics from the last game including gun play, providing ample ammunition when it matters most and allowing Gene Tonics to be used for style specific game play rather than just be general perks. Playing as a Alpha Series Big Daddy is fun, and is exactly what the Rapture setting needed for a fresh spin on combat when going against the splicers. Drill Dash gives me the feeling of being unstoppable, shock/freeze and let'em have it, much needed mobility in such a chaotic game.

Game has since been worked on heavily since launch and is now so so much better vs. when it had a multitude of technical issues. Balancing is much better and the devs aim to abolish player set meta that generates toxicity which feels good compared to other meta heavy games. Being anti-meta seems to bring fresh ideas to the table when working with other players.

My friend verbally assaults me while I play this game. I think it makes me a better player.

Good game, poorly optimized pc port. Running an RTX 3070 with a overclocked 10th gen i7 and I still suffer performance issues where as I can run RDR2 at max settings with 55-60 fps.

Either the enemy AI is super dumb and doesn't know when to turn around or they'll wall bang you like a CS:GO aimbot. It's super annoying and frustrating when you're walking and you get dome'd unexpectedly.

Props to the gameplay designers for trying their hardest to hold this game up, but everything else just falls flat.

Fatshark learned nothing from their experience with Vermintide 2 and it shows here A LOT. Missing content, poor optimization, lack of transparency etc.

RNG system is wack. Game relies more on RNG than Vermintide 2 ever did. Vermnitide had the right amount of RNG to keep things fresh for a bit while you learned the game. Here the shop itself is RNG!

Characters have zero charm and I have no reason to like them.

Mission structure is bad and the maps all feel one in the same. Nothing feels different about the environments and there's no structure to follow, just random missions to fight through.

Hub world thing is just dumb. There's no social aspect to it, just a bunch of people running around. Phantasy Star Universe and WoW made much better social hubs from over a decade ago. Total waste when they could've made something like Taal's Horn Keep.

Conditions are there to spice up normal missions, but are just very bland mutations compared to what Fatshark did with the Chaos Wastes.

Overall, I'd say wait another year before dropping 30 bucks on this. Even the Vermintide games had more content upon release. AAA games being released unfinished is a pattern that doesn't seem to be dying anytime soon.

Hands down one of the best games I have ever played in my life. Almost nothing can be compared to this masterpiece.

They took a classic and made it even better.

But for the love of god do not remake Path of Furon.

So now that multiplayer keys work again, I would highly recommend you buy this game. It's a great game and it touched on certain aspects of brutality and realism in games that still aren't explored today without the theatrics. It depicts war like nothing else.
