This is a classic.

Simple but nice graphics, easy to run, smooth gun-play, and interesting action set-pieces.

I absolutely recommend.

Absolutely awesome way to solidify Halo as a forever classic.

Its Halo on PC and I think that says it all.

However, a couple things grab my attention. Sometimes the AI can get kinda janky where they forget that the player exists and just chill around and I think the music in Halo 3 is bugged e.g. at the end of the mission "The Covenant" the music playing during gameplay takes a lot of time to stop once the cutscene has started which is really out of place, I cant think of any other instances, and I cant confirm if its just me.

The biggest draw back I can think of is that Halo 1 is still based on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC port (aka The 2011 Anniversary edition) from back in the day which just isnt as good as the original Xbox version. On that note, I'd suggest playing Halo 1 on the original visuals, the H1A visuals are too over the top.

beyond all that, all the games look great in high resolutions and playing with higher frame rates is a blessing.
Also mouse+keyboard is godly.
Its a resounding "BUY" from me.

Early Access Review
This Game..

- You constantly lose your ♥♥♥♥ to the world and its plethera of marsh lands.
- You went to the shop, you ended up getting thirsty, and died because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shop just closed
- You spent an entire bucket trying to aim the water at the right spot on the sauna stove.
- You only bought 2 bottles of Brake/Clutch fluid only to realise that you actually need 3... But it ends up taking 7 because you had a leak and it took you 2 hours to fix it.
- You took 2 hours fixing the leak because you had the wrong size spanner in your hand.
- You finished the engine only to realise you forgot to do up the main bearing bolts.
- You threw your ♥♥♥♥ in the car only to leave a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dent in the floor.
- Your computer crashed after a 4 hours session only to realise there is no auto saving.
- You are down to the tractor being your last vehicle because you suck at driving and all your other ♥♥♥♥ in a river somerwhere.
- You were hit by that ♥♥♥♥ in the yellow car.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome game though...

I've been playing Space Engineers since the Alpha many moons ago. I've seen this game grow and change. I've experienced Keen saying there wouldn't be planets.... and then there were planets.
I've put most of my hours into building production facilities and mining ships. Ill be honest, I'm lazy and have bugger-all creativity so i struggle at making ships and bases that look good. But I enjoy the process of collecting items and constructing something so this game tickles my brain in that aspect.
I would think multiplayer would be the better experience but I've spent most of my time in singleplayer (because I'm a loner) and watching a Sovietwomble stream on the side which does well at keeping me entertained.
I haven't had any technical issues with the game for a long time and it runs well on my system, but sometimes the physics can glitch out and send you back to the stone age. Thanks, Klang. As a player, you'll just have to learn where the limits lie.
The game looks great, and there are heaps of building blocks, blocks with functions, along with scripting, that lets you build pretty much anything you can imagine if you put the time and effort into it.

All in all, I would highly recommend this game to anyone.
